FILE DIRECTORY FOR ACS PATCHES

NOTE: It is imperative to install all of the patches contained in this
kit as part of the same total process (V86x_9 through V86x_12.) They are
included together in this kit for this reason.

UPGRADE PROCEDURE: Install Patch 9, then Patch 10, then Patch 11, and then Patch 12. Restart the controllers and all patches will be installed at once. Please do this as one total process before resuming operations.

ACS patch kits contain files in multiple formats to support several of
the more common terminal emulation and storage management utilities. To
apply an ACS patch stream, it is only necessary to use files with the
extension used by your preferred utility.

TXT FILES - Text only scripts with no control codes or flow control
characters. These scripts can be used for manual entry when using the
CLCP utility, or when using the SWCC, HSZterm, or SCU utilites. The
HyperTerminal terminal emulation program can also be used with TXT files
by following these instructions:

Go to FILE on the toolbar and click PROPERTIES
	Select SETTINGS Tab
	Select ASCII SETUP
Set LINE DELAY to 100 milliseconds
Set CHARACTER DELAY to 10 milliseconds

Select TRANSFER on the toolbar, and click SEND TEXT FILE.
Browse to the location of the ACS text script, highlight the file, and
click OPEN.
