Congratulations! If you received this CD from your school, your school is a member of CALI and is providing you with FREE access to CALI lessons.

What is this CD?

This CD contains the 2007-2008 Library of CALI Materials. Students, faculty, and staff at CALI member schools may use this CD to access over 675 CALI lessons as well as CALI author, an authoring system to create lessons.

While you may install lessons and run them from your hard drive, we strongly recommend visiting www.cali.org and running the lessons online for the most up-to-date versions of the lessons!

What are CALI Lessons?

CALI lessons are computer-based, interactive tutorials written by law faculty and designed as a learning tool for law students. The lessons are broken down into various topics within the different law school courses.

Suggested Uses:

Sometimes professors may suggest or assign CALI lessons to work through. Other times, you can work through lessons during the course of the semester in order to:

1) Gain familiarity with a topic prior to that topic’s discussion in class,
2) Review a topic/supplement notes after the topic’s discussion in class, and
3) Review at the end of the semester before exams.

How to Access CALI Lessons:

All current CALI lessons are on this CD, but CALI recommends using the up-to-date online versions found at www.cali.org. To logon to cali.org you will need to get an access code from your school’s CALI contact (www.cali.org/contacts).
