Pokemon: the Movie 2000 hits all theaters July 21. The main feature, 'The Power of One', stars a mysterious man named Lawrence who is extremely obsessed with catching every pokemon. Starring in the movie are a few new pokemon from Gold/Silver like Lugia, Ledyba, and Slowking. The movie also has a short cartoon, Pikachu's Rescue Adventure.
Those who see it the first week will get an Ancient Mew. Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres will be handed out after the Mews are gone. If you seek the Ancient Mew card that's worth 100's of $ in Japan, try to be there during an early showing of it the day it comes out. I've been to the last movie and the promos were gone the second day! I'll keep posted any updates for this story, like if they'll give promos through the mail like they did for Pokemon: The First Movie. |
