There's not much to say about myself, (well not that I can think of anyway) I'm currently a Stay At Home Mum and have been since the birth of William. It's not something that I'm in a hurry to change either. Both Dave and I feel that atleast one parent should be home for the kids and since I breastfeed then the choice is obvious. Strange as it may sound it's what I have always wanted and worked for.
I also strongly believe in breastfeeding, and that it be for the length of time a mother, or baby, chooses and not determined by other factors. It's unfortunate but alot of women are not given enough support and end up stopping for reasons they didn't need too, hence I'm very involved with Nursing Mothers Association of Australia (NMAA).
I also enjoy sewing but with 3 kids I don't get as much time as I would like to spend on it. In fact I enjoy anything crafty. I've dabbled with Paper Tole, Dried Floral Arrangements and Stenciling. I want to try Folk Art and Painting (Oil or Water Colour I'm not fussy) at some stage too.
I also enjoy Netball, both umpiring and playing but at the moment I've put that on the back burner for awhile so our family can have more freedom on the weekends to go camping and visit new places while we are staying in Canberra.
