Muraki's Pictures
Dr. Muraki is the villain of the series. He is a legitimate doctor whose primary obsession lies in the study of creating life from scratch and perfecting the human body. When he isn't busy with that he stirs up trouble for the Shinigami and his machinations form most of the conflict in Yami No Matsuei. Muraki is beautiful, sadistic, and more disturbing than any villain the western world has produced yet. The sensuality of sex and the sensuality of violence are interchangeable to him. His history with Hisoka and his obsession for Tsuzuki are the main reasons that Yami No Matsuei will never make it to U.S. television intact.
