Why Dealthagar?  Why a site dedicated to him?

For several years, Dealthagar has been my online persona.  I have assumed others, but it always came back to the the self-proclaimed "Ozzy Ozbourne of Atlantic".

For a very long time, Dealthagar led the charge as a member of the forces of darkness.  He has Served the Order of the Ebon Skull as a novice and all the way up to a member of the feared Ebon Council, as the Herald of Oblivion and head Necromancer.

Times have changed and the world ever turns.  He now is a loyal servant of the crown, and a member of the Regent's Council.

But why a web site?

After being fairly one dimensional for a very long time, Dealthagar has now become more like me in real life than any other character I have ever played in any other game.  He has wants and desires.  He has flaws and strengths.  He tries to be a good man, but darker thoughts and pleasant memories of "evil" times plague him.  Every day is trial, and it weighs upon him.

Also, many of you who have played with me have asked me again and again, "Why this sudden change of heart?"  It wasn't sudden.  It's wasn't a quick decision.  It's something that has been wearing on his mind and heart for a great deal of time.  I hope to show that in the fiction here.

I also have some links to stuff I really like, and some great UO stuff.  The navbar below will lead you around.

Most importantly, this site acts as an archive for important events that have come to pass on the shard.

(Or at least important to me. *grin*)

Enjoy!

Notice to unimaginative people:

The Divine Awakening exists to group together players in a game. The game is called Ultima Online and is run by Origin Systems Incorporated. It is a computer game played over the Internet in which players can play different types of characters, create stories, and otherwise engage in fiction in ways not possible without a computer.

Any and all text, art, and creative material contained in this website concern activities in Ultima Online only. In no way should any content in this website be construed to apply to activities outside of the game. Any relation between content in this site and events/people outside the game is purely coincidental and not intended.

Otherwise put: Nothing read about or seen in this website is real. It is all game play and fictional.

Also, some of the art shown on this site is either screenshots or manipulated images of Ultima Online (tm) images. (Which in turn is owned by Origin Systems and Electronic Arts)  These pictures are copyrighted and owned by them, and I claim no ownership or contest any copyrights.
