Zolotiye Gorki (Golden Hills)
   "Golden Hills" excavations invite volunteers!  You are welcome in our international archaeological camp in Russia.  We excavate a medieval settlement of Khazar times (8-10 AD) on the border of Europe and Asia.  This includes lectures and excursions on history and archaeology within the region...including the Kurgans of the Eurasian nomads and the old cities of Don Cossaks.  The camp is located in the beautiful Lower Don region.  The sponsers of the excavations are Rostov State University and the Center for the Study of Eurasian Nomads.
