~BN~ Kajirae Rules ~BN~

1.  Kajirae shall whisper to their Owner's, upon entering online Gor.  If their Master/Mistress is not present, they will make themselves available to other Free Person's of the House.  They will do this with a simple "whisper", making their availability known.  This does NOT imply consent to freely speak to Free Person's without FIRST asking permission, it is only a offering of use.  If there is no FP's of the house (online), I expect all kajirae to spend at least some time in the "BlackNite Inn/Tavern", serving guests.

2.  Kajirae will NOT be insolent in thoughts or actions, in IC or OOC.

3.  Dishonesty/lying will NOT be tolerated.  If you are found being dishonest you will be punished or branded a liar.

"I saw Rask, with a heavy glove, draw forth one of the irons from the fire.  It terminated in a tiny letter, not more than a quarter of an inch high.  The letter was white hot.  "This is a penalty brand," he said.  "It marks you as a liar."  "Please, Master!" I wept.
(Captives of Gor, pg. 310)

"It is true," said the girl.
"Why do you slaves, tell the truth?" he asked.
"We are slaves," she said. "We fear to lie."
"Excellent," he said.
(Tribesman of Gor, pg. 114)

"Do you know the penalty," I asked, "for a slave girl who lies to her master?"
She looked at me, no longer smiling.  She was now apprehensive.
"Whatever the master wishes," she said.
"For the first offense," I said.  "the penalty is not usually severe. commonly only a whipping."
(Hunters of Gor, pg. 218)

4.  Jealousy, bratty or unbecoming behavior will NOT be tolerated.  Though competition for the attention of one's Master is not un-common among slaves, it shall NOT interfere with their level of complete servitude.

"You will work, eat, drink, juice, sleep, dream and exercise upon my command," he said.
"Yes Master!" we said.
"If any of you retain any pride or courage," he said,
I will remove it from you.  It will get in the way of your being a good slave.
Do any of you retain any pride or courage?"
"No, Master!" we cried.
(Kajira of Gor, pgs. 270-271)

5.  There us NO such thing as a bad day on Gor for kajirae.  If that is the case with your mun then don't even get online.  If you do be prepared for your character to reap the consequences of your foul mood.

6.  Discussing House issues, especially information concerning raids, location of House (giving out house keys without permission), or any other item that may endanger the safety of its members will be met with sever punishment and possible death.  It will be considered an act of treason and the slave responsible a traitress.

"It marks you as a traitress," said Rask of Treve.  He looked at me, with fury.
"Be marked as a traitress," he said.
Then he pressed the third iron into my flesh.
(Captives of Gor, pg. 310)

7.  Speaking in third person is appropriate when begging or specifically told to do so by your Owner.

"Touch me Master," she whimpered.  "Do you beg it?" I asked.
"Yes, Master," she said, "Arlene, your girl, Arlene, your slave, begs your touch!"
"Oh," she sobbed.  "Thank you, Master."
(Beasts of Gor, pg. 278)

8.  All Free Person's are to be addressed as "Master" or "Mistress," unless otherwise given permission.  The exception of this rule applies to using the FP's name to show action, example: "kneels at Master (name of Master) feet."  Appropriate salutations when addressing a FP are either, "Tal Master/Mistress," or "Greetings Master/Mistress."

"I smiled to myself.  She had dared to soil the name of her master by putting it on her lips which, though beautiful, were only those of a slave.  Girls are not, commonly, permitted to speak the name of their master.  He is addressed as, or responds to, as "Master" or "my Master."  If Hassan survived, he would, I suspected, well beat her for this lapse.  Some masters, it might be noted, however, permit the girl to speak their name, if it is accompanied by an acknowledgment of title, as in, say, "Hassan, Master," or "Hassan, my Master." Hassan, however, was not so lenient; he had, as yet, not permitted his pretty Alyena this liberty."
(Tribesman of Gor, pg. 183)

"The girls stood straight, proud under the gaze of a warrior.
"Tal, Master," said many of them, as I rode slowly by."
(Tribesman of Gor, pg. 344)

9.  When serving at the BlackNite Inn/Tavern or any other place, kajirae shall give their full undivided attention to the Free Person they are serving.  In the event this happens to be a FP other then their Master or Mistress and the kajira is summoned by her Owner,  they will respectfully ask to leave and state the reason why.  Be sure to advise your Owner, that you are serving and let THEM decide if your services are needed immediately or if time may be granted to complete your serve before departing the said establishment.

10. If a kajira is foolish enough to runaway, their punishment will be severe.  First offense, they will be whipped, and second offense results in hamstringing.  Keep in mind that escape from Treve is impossible for the most part, remember where you reside.

"It was said no women had ever escaped from Treve."
(Captives of Gor, pg. 191)

"Even girls brought to Treve as slaves, obedient within her harsh walls, looking up, seeing her rushing, swift skies, did not know wherein lay the city in which they served."
(Captives of Gor, pg. 191)

11. Arguing with any Free Person is NOT allowed.  The last word kajirae shall always say is...."Yes Master/Mistress."

12. Kajirae that delete/restore (for mun reasons) without first notifying their Owner will be viewed as dead after one hand (1 week).  Time shall not be wasted on those who lack expected "RP" courtesy.

13. Any "SL's" that involve the  entire House or will be rp'ed out in public will be brought to me for approval.  The actions of individuals do reflect upon the House as a whole.  I will not tolerate kajirae creating story lines with the intent of playing center of attention.

14. Kajirae are expected to be creative and appealing in their actions.  Intelligence is NOT frowned upon as one might imagine.  Do not forget to keep in mind proper conduct and respect.

"It pleases me to own intelligent girls, such as you," he said.  "Intelligent girls make excellent slaves," he observed.
"Please, Master," I said.  "I cannot resist you!"
"Be silent," he said.
"Yes, Master," I wept.
"It is more pleasurable to control and dominate them than stupid girls," he said.
"They are more stimulating to own.
They are great prizes.
(Slave Girl of Gor, pg. 173)

15. Kajirae that strikes a Free Person will be killed. This includes the handling of weapons.  It is a capital offense.

"Do you truly think we would have let you live, if you had slain a free man?" he asked.
"You promised me my freedom," I whispered.
"Once you had done the deed," he said, "we would have cut off your hands.
Then we would have cut off your head."
(Dancers of Gor, pg. 416)

"When one who is slave strikes a free person the penalty is not infrequently death by impalement, proceeded by lengthy torture."
(Assassins of Gor, pg. 74)

16. Stealing by a slave is also a serious offense, and punishment for such a crime includes, whipping, punishment brand, ear notching and even death at the Owner's discretion.

17. White silks are those that are virgins, "glana", unopened, untouched.  Kajirae that are "white silks" will be belted when not in the immediate presence of their Owner.  They serve in a non sexual manor.  Specific do's and don't will be made known by the Free Person that owns you.  If you are asked to do something against your Master or Mistresses wishes, your character's mun needs to log it and send it to them, so it will be dealt with accordingly.

18. Red silks are those that have been opened or used, "falarina" and are no long virgin.  Kajirae restricted status is in pleasure ONLY, and is at their owner's discretion.

"The buyers were also informed that I was "glana," or a virgin.  The correlated term is "metaglana", used to designate the state to which the glana state looks forward, or that which is regarded as anticipating.  Though the word was not used of me I was also "profalarina", which term designates the state proceding, and anticipating, that of "falarina," the state Goreans seem to think of as that of being a full women, or, at least, as those of Earth might think of it, one who certainly is no longer a virgin."
(Dancers of Gor, pg 128)

"Other common terms, used generally of slaves, are "white silk" and "red silk", for girls who have not yet been opened, or have been opened, for the uses of men, respectively."
(Dancers of Gor, pg. 128)

19. Punishment of ALL kajirae, white or red silk is NOT reserved in this House.  Kajira shall place in their life scrolls, "If I am found displeasing, please chain me and notify my Master/Mistress or House BlackNite."  If their is a incident of excessive punishment without fairly good reason, contact a FP of the house.  If none are available, you may leave (punt), but WILL supply a log of the incident.  This rule, though varying from what is written in the books, is to insure the needless destruction of one's property by those who do not follow the proper format of role play.

"You do not own me!" she said.  "Neither of you own me!"
"Any free man may discipline an insolent or errant slave," I said,
"even one who is in the least bit displeasing.  If she is killed, or injured, he might only pay compensation to her master, and that only if the master can be located within a specific amount of time and requests such compensation."  In virtue of such customs and statues the perfect discipline under which Gorean slaves are kept is maintained and guaranteed even when they are not within the direct purview of their masters and their appointed agents."
(Players of Gor, pg. 235)

20. Kajira shall serve in accordance with "Norman Gor", NOT disney Gor.

(EXAMPLES)
"You may serve me wine," I said.
She reached to the wine, a sweet Ka-la-na of Ar, and filled the goblet to the third ring.  Then, as I sat back against the couch, she knelt before me.  She, head down, pressed the heavy metal goblet deep into her lower abdomen, and then she lifted it to her lips and, holding it with both hands, kissed it lingeringly and lovingly.  Then, kneeling back on her heels she put down her head and, humbly, her arms extended, her head down between them, proffered me the goblet.  "Wine, Master?" she asked.  "Yes," I said.  I then took the goblet from her, and drank."
(Guardsman of Gor, pg.. 301-302)

"Second slave," I told her, which, among the river towns, and in certain cities, particularly in the north, is a way of indicating that I would take the black wine without creams or sugars, and as it came from the pouring vessel, which, of course, in these areas, is handled by the "second slave," the first slave being the girl who puts down the cups, takes the orders and sees that the beverage is prepared according to the preferences of the one who is being served."
(Guardsman of Gor, pg. 245)

"The expression "second slave," incidentally, serves to indicate that one does not wish creams or sugars with one's black wine, even if only one girl is serving."
(Guardsman of Gor, pg. 245)

"Is it ready?" I asked.  I looked at the tiny copper kettle on the small stand.  A tiny kaiila-dung fire burned under it.  A small, heavy, curved glass was nearby, on a flat box, which would hold some two ounces of the tea.  Bazi tea is drunk in tiny glasses, usually three at a time, carefully measured."
(Tribesman of Gor, pgs 139-140)

"He extended his goblet to me, "Drink," he said, offering me the cup.
I looked at the rim of the cup.  I shook with terror.  "A slave girl dares not touch with her lips the rim of that cup which has been touched with the lips of her master," I whispered.
"Excellent," said Verna.  "She was trained in the pens of Ko-ro-ba," said Rask of Treve.
He then, from his own cup, poured some wine into a small bowl, which he handed to me."
(Captives of Gor, pg. 302)

"Serve me wine," he said.  I turned and, among the furnishings of the tent, found a bottle of Ka-la-na, of good vintage, from the vineyards of Ar, the loot of a caravan raid.  I then took the wine, with a small copper bowl, and a black, red-trimmed wine crater, to the side of the fire.  I poured some of the wine into the small copper bowl, and set it on the tripod over the tiny fire in the fire bowl.  He sat cross-legged, facing me, and I knelt by the fire, facing him.  After a time I took the copper bowl from the fire and held it against my cheek.  I returned it again to the tripod, and again we waited.  I began to tremble.  "Do not be afraid slave," he said to me.  "Master!" I pleaded.  "I did not give you permission to speak," he said.  I was silent.  Again I took the bowl from the fire.  It was now not comfortable to hold the bowl, but it was not painful to do so.  I poured the wine from the small copper bowl into the black, red-trimmed wine crater, placing the small bowl in a rack to one side of the fire.  I swirled, slowly, the wine in the wine crater.  I saw my refection in the redness, the blondness of my hair, dark in the wine, and the collar, with its bells, about my throat.  I now, in the fashion of the slave girl of Treve, held the wine crater against my right cheek.  I could feel the warmth of the wine through the side of the crater.  "Is it ready?" he asked.  A master of Treve does not care to be told that his girl thinks it is.  He wishes to be told Yes, or No.  "Yes," I whispered.  I did not know how he cared for his wine, for some men of Treve wish it warm, others almost hot.  I did not know how he wished it.  What if it were not as he wished it!  "Serve me wine," he said.  I carrying the wine crater, rose to my feet and approached him.  I then knelt before him, with a rustle of slave bells, in the position of the pleasure slave.  I put my head down and, with both hands, extended my arms to him, held forth the wine crater.  "I offer you wine, Master," I said.
(Captives of Gor, pgs. 331-332)

"At a gesture from the proprietor, the grimy man in the tunic of white and gold, one of the serving slaves, with a flash of her ankles bells, hurried to the Assassin and set before him a bowl, which she trembling filled from the flask held over her right forearm.  Then, with a furtive glance at the girl chained at the side of the room, the serving slave hurried away.
Kuurus took the paga bowl in both hands and put his head down, looking into it.
Then somberly, he lifted it to his lips and drank."
(Assassins of Gor, pg. 9)

"Mead!" called Ivar Forkbeard, from across from me.  "Mead!"  He held out the great, curved horn, with its rim of filigreed gold.  Pudding and Gunnhild knelt on the bench, snuggling against him, one on either side.  But they did not run to fetch his mead.  That duty, this night, befell another.  Hilda the Haughty, daughter of Thorgard of Scagnar, as stripped as any bond-maid, from a large bronzed vessel, poured mead for the Forkbeard."
(Marauders of Gor, pg. 129)

"I hurried to the counter and handed Busebius, who was beaming, the paga vessel and strap.  Again it had been emptied.  He dipped the vessel into a great vat of paga and returned it to me.  "Paga! Paga!" I heard.  I did not even have time to slip the vessel on its strap over my shoulder.  Holding its two handles with my hands, I fled back, with a jangle of slave bells, to the floor, to serve.
(Slave Girl of Gor, pg. 298)

(There are many such examples within the books, if you take the time to find them)

21. Kajira shall be creative in their serves, laziness is NOT tolerated, and the use of macro's are discouraged.

22. When entering a inn/tavern (public room), you will NOT beg to enter, but will ask permission to leave.  If you are not busy serving, or your service is not required, do NOT sit idly around, find something to do.  A lazy slave is not appealing.

23. When a slave has completed their serve to a Free Person, they will wait to be released to serve another.

24. It is NOT the responsibility of myself or any other owner to satisfy the "needs" of a slave, so she may be in the proper mindset to serve graciously.  There will be times that your Master/Mistress is not available for one reason or another, except it or move on.  Kajirae are here to serve Free Person's of Gor, not the other way around.  If you are not happy with your chosen character role online, then change it, don't whine.

"But let us not speak of slaves," I said, "girls who serve for our diversion or recreation, but of serious matters, of  concern of men."
"Agreed," said he.
There was a time for slaves, and a time for matters of importance.
(Explorers of Gor, pg. 15)

"The important thing," I said, "is to be what you are.  If you are a slave, be a slave."
"Yes, Master," she said.
"What are you?" I asked.
"A slave," she whimpered, kissing my feet.
"Then be a slave," I said.
"Yes, Master," she said.
(Blood Brothers of Gor, pg. 181)

25. Kajirae are given slave wine once a month, whether it is rp'ed out or not.  NO accidental breeding will be tolerated.  Approval for such sl's will be at the Owner's discretion and brought to the attention of myself (in advance).

"She did not need the sip root, of course, for, as she had pointed out, she had has some within the moon, and, indeed, the effect of sip root, in the raw state, in most women, is three or four moons.  In the concentrated state, as in slave wine, developed by the caste of physicians, the effects is almost indefinite, usually requiring a releaser for its remission, usually administered, to a slave, in what is called breeding wine, or the "second wine."  When this is administered she usually knows, that she has been selected from crossing with a handsome male slave."
(Blood Brothers of Gor, pg. 319)

26. All kajirae shall learn and know the proper slave positions of Gor.

27. Red silks of the house will in addition be required to learn a minimum of three slave dances; knowledge of all known dances is recommended and encouraged.  Being a "trained" red silk requires many months of training.  Not only are they to be pleasing in the furs, but must be capable of performing many everyday chores.  If you have not obtained ample knowledge of these skills then you are classified as a red silk in training.  Keep in mind NO kajirae is "fully" trained.  As all slaves are different, so are their Owner's and their tastes.

"A good deal of training of the slave girl, surprisingly, to my naive mind, was in relatively domestic matters.  For example, the Pleasure Slave, if she is trained by a good house, must also be the master of those duties commonly assigned to Tower Slaves.  Accordingly, they must know how to cut and sew cloth, to wash garments and clean various types of materials and surfaces, and to cook an extensive variety of foods, from the rough fare of Warriors to concoctions which are exotic almost to the point of being inedible."
(Assassins of Gor, pg. 204)

"Elizabeth was, however, to my satisfaction, taught a large number of things which, to my mind, were more appropriate to the training of slave girls, including a large number of dances, dozens of songs, and an unbelievable variety of kisses and caresses.  The sheer mechanics of her repertoire, theoretically outfitting her to give exquisite pleasure to anyone from an Ubar to a peasant, are much too complex and lengthy to recount here.
(Assassins of Gor, pgs. 204-205)

28. Kajirae that need to go "AFK" for a short period of time, shall advice the Free Person in the room and ask to be inattentive.  If there is a mun emergency, that is your #1 priority, not online role play.  If you anticipate being away from your cpu for an extended period of time, ask to leave the room.  "AFK's" and "OOC" should be kept to a minimum if at all possible, to avoid interrupting the flow of rp.

29. Kajirae shall kneel in the presence of all Free Persons.

"I looked at Janice, harshly.  "Are you not a slave girl in the presence of free men?" I asked.
"Forgive me, Master," she cried.  Swiftly she knelt.
(Explorers of Gor, pg. 392)

"The kneeling position is, of course, a suitable one for slaves.  A slave will normally assume such a position on entering the presence of her master or a free person.  She will probably remain in it until permitted to rise.  It is a common position, too, for her to assume when she is in attendance of a master, for example, awaiting his notice or command.  Too, she will usually speak to her master from this position, unless, if course, she is lying down, as in making her reports to him, inquiring as to his will, answering questions, and so on.  Some masters approve it, too, for purposes of general conversation."  (Blood Brothers of Gor, pg. 246)

"Why are you not kneeling," I asked her, "and with your knees spread?"  She was, after all, in the presence of a free man.  Too, clad as she was, I assumed she must be a pleasure slave.  Such kneel before men in the open-kneed position.  She sank to her knees on the stone, and hastily spread them.  The cloth looked well, fallen between her thighs, on the damp stone.  I looked upon her.  She was now in a position of subservience and respect, suitable for a women before a man"
(Renegades of Gor, pg. 121)

These rules shall be followed by ALL kajirae that reside in House BlackNite, Not abiding by them is not an acceptable excuse to me.
If you are in need of further explanation then ask a Free Person or the House's en-sa'fora (X yahiraKB), ignorance is also not an acceptable excuse.

I EXPECT THEM TO BE LEARNED!

Kyle Blackhawk
Head of House BlackNite
