Hello, and welcome to my Team Rocket site. This page is dedicated to Jesse, James, Meowth, and all of Team Rocket's misadventures in capturing that blasted Pikachu...
(Sorry there's no pictures up at this time. I'll work on that... if I ever get my own computer and scanner...)

Anyway, if you simply stumbled upon this page, Team Rocket are the "bad guys" in the animated series known as Pokemon. Their goals are as follows:

• Capture rare and powerful Pokemon (it doesn't matter if the pokemon belongs to somebody or not).
• Take over the world.

In the series, there are six members (as of 5/1/99) that we have seen.

• First Group
  1. Jesse - A beautiful, red-haired woman with a short temper
  2. James - A handsome guy who seems to be the stupidest of the three
  3. Meowth - A Cat Pokemon who talks, and the brains of the group.
• Second Group (NEW!)
  1. Cassity - An "old friend of Jesse", who tries to prove that she's better than her former friend.
  2. Butch - Cassity's partner. His voice has a croaking sound to it.
• "The Boss" - His actual name is not mentioned in the series to this point (5/1/99), but he is seen with his face in the shadows talking to Butch and Cassity in the episode The Breeding Center Secret while petting a Persian. (In the Game Boy game, he is known as Giovanni.)

I want to point out that Meowth is one of two Pokemon who has actually "talked" in the show (all other Pokemon simply say their name or parts of it as their vocabulary). If you are wondering what the other Pokemon is, it's Ghastly in the episode "The Ghost of Maiden's Peak" (although later on we see a Ghastly who can only say his name like the other Pokemon...).

The goal of the first Team Rocket's goal in most episodes, in addition to the two above, is to capture Ash's Pikachu. Why this particular one, you may ask? Well, in the episode Ash Catches A Pokemon, Meowth says this:
Your Pikachu's powers impress even me. I really got a charge out of it's incredible attack the last time we met. Its powers exceed it's evolutionary level...

The second Team Rocket's goal is not to capture Ash's Pikachu per se, but to replace the first team (Jesse, James, and Meowth) in the field.

Looks like Team Rocket is blasting off again!
