Duty Quests
Duty quests are fun roleplay events that help members work together and socialize. Duty points
are given for for completing the quest, and sometimes quests can be done more than once. We encourage all
members to participate in duty quests.
The Quest for building a new library
“When one has the feeling of dislike for evil, when one feels tranquil, one finds
pleasure in listening to good teachings; when one has these feelings and appreciates them,
one is free of fear.”
Knowing the truth of these words of the Buddha, the Dharma clan is working on building up
a library with good teachings for all of it's members. This library is going to be jewel of
the clan facilities and we will need many things to make it twinkle for all to see and to
reward us with the divine gift of tranquility.
The heart of a library is it's books and scrolls. Please help us collect them throughout
the kingdom. Bring to us two sacred poems and two war poems, that tell about the good and bad
times of the land.
A good library has more than words about the past, it opens your mind to dreams. It is
rumoured that the snake has a hidden library with tales of the Mythic world. If you have
found a way to their lair, bring back one of their scribe's books to open our minds to the
mythic world. If not, bring us a sea poem to tell us about the dreams that lie beyond the
shores of our kingdom.
All these books and scrolls will need shelves to be stored in. Our genious architect,
Master Boushin, has come up with a brilliant construction plan of these. Unfortunately, to
build those, we will need many silver tree branches. Please help us and search the groves of
wilderness for one of those and while you do it, please bring back a bundle of ginko wood as
well, which will be needed to craft the parquet of the library room.
A library is a living entity and great libraries have always been a place, where old
knowledge has been collected and new findings have been researched. Our library will continue
with that tradition and so we kindly ask you to help us with the resources. The xx and his
guardians are rumoured to possess a special pen, that enlightens the scribe that uses it and
helps him focus his mind. Should you have access to his cave, please bring us one of these
legendary pens; otherwise, bring us one aqua potion that will help us to create a blessed ink
to support our scribe’s.
Finally, to create an inspiring surrounding for the reader, Master Boushin has come up
with a construction idea of magical statues, that will protect the peaceful mind from
disturbing elements. He told me, for the construction of those, we need to smelt a few iron
statues, that will provide iron as well as magic. Support this by donating one iron statue.
When you have collected all these items, please contact one of our donation takers and be
prepared to receive 500 duty points and my personal blessings. Here is the summary of the items
needed:
- 2 Sacred poems
- 2 War poems
- 1 Scribe's book (lvl 98+) OR 1 Sea poem (lvl 97-)
- 1 Silver tree branch
- 30 Ginko wood
- 1 Scribe's pen (lvl 80+) OR 1 Aqua potion (lvl 79-)
- 1 Iron statue
