This game is on Hiatus...
I need the following information to help me and the players better RP.
Send me in this order:
Character Name, E - Mail Address, Player Name, Description of Character as if in a warm room with normal attire. Please include: height, approximate age, facial features, scars, hair and eye color, clothing, weaponry, any obvious symbols be it holy or otherwise, anything I’ve missed and the final kicker your Charisma.
House Rules
Please, please send me any conversations between players.
If I don’t hear from you in one week…well, ya know!
Always put "Norse" in your subject line.
When you send messages, please put your characters name either leading your statement or just prior to.
Put OOC in the subject line if you have questions outside of character play or after your character statement.
If you must curse, please do it in a foreign dialogue: Grog say’s, "You eat giant innards for breakfast".
If your going away for a while, please let me know so I don’t drop you from the game.
Oh, please role-play without using AD&D terms like: I am casting a fire ball at the orcs. Say it like this, Jarvis rose to his feet muttering strange arcane words and waving fingers gently in complicated patterns…then fire erupts from those same fingers launching across the room exploding in a cataclysm of distruction within the midst of the orc horde.
In difficult circumstances I prefer we use a net dice machine to settle close rolls. If anyone has a particular one they like let me know. Here is one: http://www.irony.com/mailroll.html
I reward players with cunning, ingenuity and interactive skills within or outside the party .
If at some point you feel your character must move away, far away from the group let me know and we will work it out. Just remember I expect you to plan on rejoining ASAP.
Have fun. I won’t stand for any exaggerated brow beating or back stabbing if it makes someone not enjoy the game. Fair enough? That’s supposed to be where I get to have fun, right?
