Parallel Universes
Most of what we call "Paranormal" is attributed to the supposed existence of "parallel worlds or universes" that exist in the same space as our own and each other, yet, normally, do not interact with each other. Each universe is "real" only relative to itself. It is when something interferes with the "separation" of these universes and they or their inhabitants interact with our OWN universe, is what we call a "paranormal" event.
"Ghosts", "spirits", "demons", "time warps"and various other phenomena can all be attributed to part of another universe temporarily becoming real to our own . But is this concept even possible? Is it compatible with conventional Science? The answer, surpassingly is YES.
As we know the sub-atomic particles that make up atoms can be broken down into quarks, which ultimately have a WAVE nature--thus ALL MATTER IS COMPOSED OF WAVES. Now waves have different "Attributes", or characteristics, such as Frequency, Amplitude, Polarization, etc. ---This is all conventional Science.
Indeed conventional "Quantum Physics" has several equally valid "models" it uses to describe the odd behavior of matter at the sub atomic level. One of these IS the "Parallel World Theory". It explains MORE than any of the other models, but it is a bit "too messy" to most Scientists to be used as the current "working model"---They currently prefer what is called the "Copenhagen Theory" for most work, but most admit that it is no more or less valid than the other proposed theories --including that of Parallel Worlds..
We only have to "stretch" conventional Science a little bit to assume that matter waves that have the SAME attributes are REAL relative to each other. Matter waves that have a different attribute, from another, such as a different frequency, will NOT be real relative to each other----but BOTH waves (matter fragments) are just as "real" in the absolute sense.
Matter composed of waves having the same attributes form universes. The other waves are not affected by each other and co-exist just as radio waves of different frequencies co-exist in the air without interfering with each other. Thus many universes CAN exist in the SAME space.
"Natural" fluctuations in frequency, for example, in matter waves may cause the waves (matter) in part of one universe to match or come close enough to that of another. When this happens, part of another universe may become "REAL" to the other. If inhabitants of the universes in question are involved , THEN we have an explanation for what are called "ghosts" or "spirits".
If "spirits" or other entities are composed of matter from parallel worlds then they apparently have developed methods to alter the "frequency" or whatever the critical attribute is, to MATCH that of our own universe---Thus, at least for a short time, becoming a part of our own world. If the match is perfect, then the being is as "solid" as anyone else. If the match is less than perfect, there would be a kind of "transparent effect"--which is most often reported. A lesser match may permit some interaction with our world, but the being may not be visible.
TIME and time travel
I include this here because TIME itself may be related to the "parallel world set-up" This aspect is a bit more speculative, but it might be possible that Time might be the effect of a gradual and steady increase in the ABSOLUTE "frequency" of matter waves. This would effectively separate each "instant" of time into its own "parallel world". If this concept is true, then All of the parallel universes are, in effect, THIS one, only at different instants of time. Time "flow" then is the effect of the matter waves in our body steadily changing frequency and putting us in one parallel universe after another.
Actual "spirit worlds" in THIS theory, are therefore parallel universes, which are, more or less, GREATLY displaced in time.
This set up also allows for TIME TRAVEL---all one has to do is figure out a way to change the frequency of the matter waves in one's body. In theory, then if you change the "frequency" to match that of the universe at another time, then you could effectively TRAVEL to that time. Note this is exactly the process as described above to travel to a parallel universe----Which , in this theory, another time period IS. Natural "disturbances" in this system could explain the "time warp" effects observed in the cases of "ghosts" of inanimate objects ("ghost trains", etc.) and cases when people have actually temporarily walked into another time periods (yes it has happened)
