  Shadowrun is a good RPG, and like all RPG's, it involves a lot of combat.  Even if you set up your character as a hippie vegan Hare Krshna pacifist, well, you'll still encounter combat.  As such, it may be a good idea to give that hippie vegan Hare Krshna pacifist a .50AE Desert Eagle, or maybe a reproduction Kalashnikov AK-47...
