My journey through the art world has led me to the field of dance but each step of this adventure has been one intriguing medium of exploration after the next. My dabblings in the arts have included music, painting, drawing, photography, mixed-media, poetry, video, theater, digital graphic design and finally dance which has become my home and chosen medium. Even though I have chosen a specific medium to focus on I find that I can not escape the various other aspects of art which have led me here. I hear the music in my body, I write the dance through the air, and paint it along the stage. I view my mind as a doodle-filled and scratchy sketchbook filled with pages which -- as I share and teach them -- become clear.

My creative process has been influenced by the multitude of genres I've been exposed to and I've grown an appreciation of each participant of a performance work. I may begin with an idea but that idea is always impacted by the various performers involved. On this list of performers are each unique dancer, the music (and/or musicians), the lighting, the performance space, and even at times the audience; each are participants in the performance experience. My original concept is allowed to evolve into a new creation to honor the hue each element adds to a production.
