The Greatness of They Might Be Giants

This part of my website is dedicated to spreading the news of Brooklyn's Ambassadors of Love:

Who's There May Be Giants?

I'm glad you asked that question. :) is a really spiffy band that plays the trippykeenest (trippykeenest? Is that even a word? Well, it is now. ;) ) songs, like Istanbul (Not Constantinople), Fingertips, S-E-X-X-Y, and many others!

is made up of two members, John Flansburgh, and John Linnell. Last year, Linnell was ninth in the online People magazine's "100 Beautiful People" poll. Flansburgh is fourth in Time magazine's "Person of the Century" poll. Keen, is it not?

now has 8 full length albums out, the most current one being Severe Tire Damage(that I got to see when They came to Atlanta -- my first concert!) and it's really nifty. The band also has their selftitled album (also called the Pink Album or the Blue Dog Album), Flood, Lincoln, Miscellaneous T (b-sides), Apollo 18, John Henry, and Factory Showroom. The only ep that I've been able to get my hands on is Why Does the Sun Shine? (or The Sun is a Mass of Incandescent Gas), which really bites for me, because I really don't have any nifty stuff to trade for a recording of the Atlanta concert. :(

A nifty self-promotion thingy that TMBG has done is Their Dial-A-Song service. (free when you call from work!) When you call, a recording will kick up, and you'll get to hear a nifty song! Check it out!
