Mission statement
The “Knights of the Phoenix” exist to protect the dark facet Felucia and all her domains. It is our stated goal to control all aspects of life within the dark facet and force all upstarts and invaders out of our beloved home. It is our sacred duty to excel in combat through individual skill at arms and collective organization and pride.
Article I
Recruitment and Admittance
Section 1: Joining Requirements
Since our design is to build a strong pvp guild, it is important to ensure the quality and loyalty of all members. Yet this concern must be balanced with the growth and maintaince of our orders by the infusion of new blood and ideas into our body. To that end we will accept as candidates for membership any person(s) who are recommended by a member with the rank knight or above after they have met the following guide lines with the ranking of a squire.
Section 2: Dismissing a member
Unfortunately there are times when it is necessary to remove a member because they injure the whole of the guild. It is important to be realistic about the reasons we remove members from our rolls. To that end the following people may be dimissed, but retain the right to seek readmittance with unanimous approve of the high council.
Any officer who is found abusing his rank or office may be dismissed at the pleasure of the high council or and assembly of lords.
Article II: Ranks
Section 1: Titles and Requirements
Our titles and ranks are tightly woven together in our attempt to create a clear chain of command in all situations. The person with the highest rank is always in command, and incase of tie it is resolved in order of seniority
Section 2: Requirements
In order to ensure quality members each rank will have set requirements that may be updated by the high council at a unanimous vote or council or lords with simple majority.
1. Squire- requirement for squire are covered in article one
2. Knight- Must show competence in pvp being able to slay 10 different red pvpers
3 Guardian- must assist 3 others in gaining knights
4. Master- must assist 3 others in gaining guardian and plan implement a major event
Article III: Internal Organization
Section I: Order of the Talon
The order of the talon exists to provide warrior support and training. It is ruled by the Talon Marshal who sits upon the high council. The talon Marshal is to help provide training in both skills and pvp to all members and represent the order of the talon in the high council. The Order of the talon is composed all non-guard members who are primarily warriors rather than mages or those further identified by measures of the order
Section II: Order of the Flame
The order of the Flame exists to provide mage support and training. It is ruled by the Flame Marshal who sits upon the high council. The Flame Marshal is to help provide training in both skills and pvp to all members and represent the order of the Flame in the high council. The Order of the Flame is composed all non-guard members who are primarily mages rather than warriors or those further identified by measures of the knighthood.
Section III: Phoenix Guard
The Phoenix guard is the elite troops of the Knighthood designed to serve the high council as body guards and as shock troops in all massed combats and high risk situations. The Members are broken down in squads of four lead by a “Sergeant at Arms” and must be selected by a member of the high council and confirmed by that body
Section IV: Companies and Squads
The knighthood is generally broken down into companies of thirteen(13) which consist of four (4) squads for a total one master, 3 guardians and nine knights. The leader of each company is given the right to speak his/her mind at councils oh the lords.
Article IV: Governance
Section I: High Council
The High council is the primary body of governing the Knighthood. It is made up of The Talon Marshal, the Flame Marshal and the Phoenix Grandmaster each have one vote in all descions and may sit in judgment of all issues and may only be overruled only by a 2/3 majority in the council of the lords.
Section II: Council of Lords
The Council of lords is made up all Guardians of the knighthood and the marshals. All have one vote in the matters at hand. Any member of the high council may call a Council of lords at anytime but in order for any descions to be made there must be a majority of all eligible members in favor including the absent members.
Section III: General Assembly
Is an open body of all members of the knighthood who may vote on ideas and changes to the measure and when called will be to establish quorum. It will be presided over by the grandmaster changes to the measure require a 2/3 majority all others a 50% majority collecting in ballot boxes after the meetings in the main guild house.
Article V: Offices
All office holding will be done at the allowance of the high council and the awarding of such offices will be done by approval of that body. They are not allowed votes in the council of lords, but may participate in general assemblies.
Article VI: Stores
Certain items may be deemed as war materials by the high council, which means that they will be collected by the provisioner and distributed by the that officer to those deemed in need by the high council.
Article VII: Amending and Ratifying
It takes a 2/3 majority of the Council of lords and the General assembly to amend the measure.
