centuries ago, the vampiric clans of Datara invaded the peaceful, Eastern Kingdoms of Warlands. Under the rule of Malagen the Black, the Datarans very nearlydestroyed the races of man, but fearing the wrath of the Gods,Malagen withdrew his armies back to Datara. Until now. Four heroes are brought together by fate to fight a great evilthat has returned to the Kingdoms of Warlands. Shal'Hazar Castle is the staging ground for what will become another war between Datara and Warlands. The Vampire hordes attack the castle with thier Lycanthropes and Dragons killing everyone but our four heroes, who escape through the sewer system beneath the castle. One of these heroes is a Knight named Jerell who has taken a Blood Oath to avenge the deaths of his fellow Knights and especially his captain, who stood his ground so that the heroes could escape to safety.
