STAR TREK The Original Series, the first of the four STAR TREK series, this is the show that started it all. This series showed us the young and daring Captain Kirk in command of the original U.S.S. Enterpride during the twenty two sixtys. Despite some rather cheasy special effects and somewhat silly storylines, TOS braved three seasons and seventy-eight episodes on the air before it's cancellation. Despite this setback the showed gained it's fame through syndication. In the late seventies it was suggested a second STAR TREK series be created, although it went into production, STAR TREK: PHASE TWO, never came to be, instead the incredibly succesful STAR TREK movies were created.
