My Cartoon Fan Page

There are few examples of television shows that outdo the best cartoons. Ever since I was me, I have watched cartoons. The following are my favorites. Click the link in the blurb to go to a good page of that particular program.

Boy, do I love the Simpson's. The are the pinnacle of television's brief evolution. They are 11 years old, and still going strong with hilarious material. That is pure, absolute, genius.

The best cartoon ever to come out of Disney is Darkwing Duck. The superhero from St. Canard has all the standards of a cartoon (senseless violence, ominous villains, etc.), but it is also full of intelligent, subtle humor and puns.

The best new cartoon has to be The Family Guy. This shows Simpson-esque humor is great, and it is definitely NOT a Simpson rip off. The range of character types is probably the greatest I have ever seen.

Another of the few worthwhile things Disney has produced is Talespin. The savvy humor of Baloo and the sheer brilliance of Don Carnage, and the just plain cool Dunder offset the shows few weakpoints, like Kit Cloudkicker.

One of the best animated cartoons ever, with real suspense is Batman: The Animated Series. Now part of the Batman/Superman adventures, this show is far superior to its mate.

Probably the crudest show out there, however, one of the funniest, Comedy Central's South Park is non-stop hilarity. From foul-mouthed Cartman, to the "stud" Stan, to the pimp-daddy Chef, to the always doomed Kenny, this show is a bowl of laughter.

The last good thing to come out of disney happens to be their first animated series, DuckTales. This show is hard to find in reruns now, but I always try to catch it.

The finest show that originated on the Cartoon Network is Johnny Bravo. I don't know why I love this show, I guess I can relate to Johnny's success with women.
One of the funniest after-school cartoons ever are the Animaniacs. Its mix of juvenile humor, political humor, and senseless acts of violence is breathtaking.
Even funnier than its parent show is Pinky and the Brain. Originally a segment on the Animaniacs, this duo was so poular they got their own successful program.
The greatest animated series that originated from a video game is Earthworm Jim. This show was loosely based on the video game of the same name. It was pretty funny, but it has been off the air so long I couldn't quote it if I wanted to.
