All music should be free. .:past news:. Overshot is set to play the Houston SuperBowl Bash at Minute Maid Park on Friday, January 30th! The guys will rock out the park at around 12pm along with headliners Jerry Cantrell, Cross Canadian Ragweed and Sammy Hagar (plus former Van Halen bandmate Mike Anthony). Jerry Cantrell Website Cross Canadian Ragweed Overshot will be opening up for two big national acts in October, the first taking place on Sunday, Oct 5th at the SideCar Pub with multi-platinum artists Days of the New. The other big show is set for Friday, Oct 10th at the 610 Arena where Overshot will be opening up for Universal Recording artists Blue October. The band has waited a very long time to play with these two great bands, and they promise to put on an amazing two shows for all who show up. Overshot featured on 94.5 FM The Buzz Radio On Sunday night (Aug 3rd), the city of Houston listened to Overshot rock it out on Pam Kelly's TX Buzz show @ 11pm. The show was broadcast live from Sherlocks, and Overshot had a few songs played and were interviewed on the air. Clips coming soon... Two New Songs Available for Download! (Right-click and chooses "Save As") Revelation (NEW) Mp3, 128kbps, 3.2mb P.R. (NEW) Mp3, 128kbps, 3.5 These songs were recorded just months ago, and feature new bassist Anthony Pitt on the tracks. These two songs, "Revelation" & "P.R." will now be available on the EP demo cds at all Overshot shows. Fans are encouraged to spread the music on Kazaa, Morpheus, Napster, etc. Overshot Plays Earth Day Festival On Saturday, May 24th, Overshot rocked it out at the annual Earth Day Festival along with Simple Plan, Bowling For Soup, Lisa Marie Presley, Jewel, Michelle Branch, Lucy Woodward and Kelly Clarkson. Bassist Anthony Pitt Plays National Anthem at Buzzfest XI On Saturday, May 10th, Anthony Pitt kicked off the show at Buzzfest XI held at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion with his rendition of the National Anthem on guitar. Needless to say, it was an excellent performance, right up there with Godsmack's later on in the night. E-mail the Houston Chronicle!
