Legacies of the Sith

This page is dedicated to distributing information on the current TP underway concerning the visions Daris experienced during the invasion of Corellia after he called upon the Dark Side of the Force. It picks up immediately after the retreat of the Mandalorians as the Republic begins to rebuild and heal the wounds of the invasion. For now it'll principally deal with the scenes that Daris has been in concerning the TP, until and unless I get a chance to post some logs from scenes that involve the other parts of this TP. Obviously the logs posted here are not common knowledge, so if you do read them, use your discretion and common sense in what you're likely to know about these events. Thanks,
Daris/Padaric

The Stories and Scenes

This is the log section of the page. Little snippets of the story provided for your pleasure. Enjoy.

For the first time since being lost in the sewers during the invasion, Daris sits down for a conversation with his sister. Reluctant at first, he tells his sister a little of the visions that he can still recall and discusses his fears that he will not be able to purge the dark from himself...

Daris recieves an unexpected surprise in the form of a visit by Lieutenant Bryce. While not unusual in and of itself, her concerns pose the serious problem that recent and unlikely allegations may indeed be true...

With all the other problems that face him, one of his most serious concerns remains the mental state of Major Jansi Kierdan. With an interest in how the rebuilding of Corellia is going -- as well as a healthy interest in the emotional state of one of his chief commanders -- Daris stops by to check up on Kierdan. It quickly becomes apparent that not only is Kierdan changed from the man Daris remembers, he has no desire to be checked up on.

Even with the Mandalorians driven back from Republic space, the never ending string of problems continues to manifest itself before Daris. But Lieutenant Lena Bryce brings a much more serious incident to Daris' attention, a charge that could very well prove explosive in its outcome.

Daris and Lena's concern for Kenobi is not unique amongst the military officers on Corellia. Before their discussion can completely conclude, Kenobi's young pupil Anakin Skywalker brings his own concerns for his teacher before Daris. More and more, it looks like the options for dealing with the irrational General are disappearing...

While Kenobi continues to be a troubling matter, it is hardly the only concern that Daris must cope with. He still has private concerns over the disturbing visions he experienced. Fortunately, an old friend comes for a visit and may be able to aid him in clearing up his cloudy memory...

The situation with Kenobi has finally reached a head and Daris is one of several who confront the wayward General. But in the past days, Kenobi's irrational behaviour has only increased and there is little hope of anything but a tragic outcome.

While Kenobi's death was unfortunate and still somewhat shocking, Daris had finally reached a decision that it was time to track down the source of his visions. With the team for the mission chosen, Daris sought out Kierdan to do a little pre-flight informational gathering.

Hours before the trip to the Outer Rim is to begin, Daris recieves a visit from his sister. Acting on impulse, he goes against his usual nature and invites her along despite his fears that this little expedition could very well turn deadly.

With the preparations finally complete, Daris is finally ready to join the rest of the team. To that end, he tracks down his sister.

Everyone gathers in the starport to go over the last minute details and oversee the final loading of their gear. Daris and Syra soon join the rest of the GroundOps officers and the team boards their freighter, ready for the trip to the Outer Rim.

With the long flight to Ord Betari underway, Daris finds himself with some freetime and soon finds himself in the company of Mick. Concerns over the status of the ship quickly shift to the topic of Jansi Kierdan, and the rifts in the crew of the Gypsy Minstral become ever more apparent...
