Who Am I?

My name is Alan and I am a programmer living in the suburban Philadelphia area. I am married and have a one-year-old son. Here are some of my likes and dislikes:

FAVORITE MOVIES: Highlander (the original, not the sequels), Star Trek II and IV, The Star Wars Trilogy, The Fugitive, The Shawshank Redemption, the Airplane films, the Naked Gun films

FAVORITE TV SHOWS: I don't watch too much TV nowadays, but I like WKRP In Cinncinnati, M*A*S*H, Classic Star Trek, earlier Star Trek: The Next Generation episodes, seaQuest, early episodes of Sliders

FAVORITE MUSIC GROUPS: Journey, Iron Maiden, Queen, Megadeth, Slade, Galactic Cowboys

FAVORITE FOODS: Buffalo Wings, Tacos, Pizza, anything spicy that is sure to harden my arteries...

LIKES: Playing with my son, video games, programming

DISLIKES: Driving (too many idiots out there!), rude people, hardcore Republicans ("We know what's good for you")

Why am I doing this?

I've always loved video games, and have always wanted a video game featuring my friends. Most of the characters in this game are based on real people I know (find out more about them on the Biographies page.)

With the emergence of fighting games, I thought this would be the way to go with my own not-too-serious game featuring my friends.
