You chose to run I see. That means that you think that running is a safe way to avoid a death that might have brought you eternal life. But you as a mortal think you can just simply run. Even a slow vampire with out celerity is fast enough to catch any mortal that runs from her. It's like a lioness chasing her prey, the may run might even be safe for a few moments but in the end they will be caught and feed upon as though they had never fled at all.
