Tony Garner plays "the Doctor"
This is the amateur Doctor Who film that has been in production in Sussex for quite simply aeons now.

It is a team effort; the main trio responsible being Ashley Nealfuller, David Clarke and Stephen Cranford, now known collectively as SAD Films, or Oblivion DTV. The final 12 minute segment from Episode 5 featured the Third Doctor, and we were extremely proud to have the original actor JON PERTWEE to play the part!

This segment, with a brief story synopsis/trailer preceding it, was shown TWICE at the PANOPTICON 96 at Coventry in October. Firstly for about four hundred people at the start of one of the interview panels, and then later added to the schedules and shown at 3pm to an audience
of about 1500 ! This was a very proud moment for all involved.

As with a lot of amateur productions, progress
is variable, as all sets and props are home built, and their construction cause necessary delays. Coupled
with the availability of our actors, it is clear why this project has taken so long so far. However,
construction of our new filming studio continues apace, and we hope to be filming soon.
Luckily, the plot concerns time, and the fact that our actors age as the story progresses is entirely in
keeping with the plot!

We have also been involved with the recent BBC Comic Relief effort; contributing an interior set and some dalek props for the filming at Pinewood Studios in February this year! More details on this will appear on these pages as soon as possible.
Here's some to start off with!

Naturally we are aware that Doctor Who itself is a copyright product with the BBC and the Daleks elsewhere. As an amateur production we are producing the film for our own entertainment - there is no desire to sell the finished article or make any money at all.
