Fan Art

Back in the day, an accomplished girl was one who knew at least one or two arts- who could paint, draw, or sketch. This isn't "the day" anymore; if it were, there would be a lot more here. But I do love the arts, and so I paint, I draw, and I sketch. When I can. And if I get even more time, I put them here. Feedback is always welcome. I'm not taking requests, as I'm still learning and a bit unsure, but maybe one day... V_^

All art is done by me. If you take it without permission, you will suffer severe consequences. I have eyes wandering around, you know...

Sailor Moon

Amy was my first favorite of the Sailor Scouts. And with good reason. I totally envy her intelligence. Water color ahoy!
A doodle that turned into something to be proud of! This is what summer school is for, ladies and gentlemen. Amy looks as lost as I did in my Government class (which I was in while drawing this). Pencil on paper.
Another product of Government class. Of all the Sailor Soldiers, I look like Lita the most. Therefore, I favor her in my doodles. Hail the Amazon! Paper and pencil.
Michelle is great to draw. Why? Her hair is awesome. I love the waves... Of course, they are also really hard to draw. Sigh. This is an attempt at Michelle, and one I'm pretty proud of. It may not be HER, but I think it captures her delicacy, her elegance, and her grace. Paper and pencil combined- the power is mine! Mwahahahaha!
Raye is my favorite character of all time. Which means she's constantly in my thoughts to draw. I was surprised at this one. When I look at a certain part of her body, I see a lot of immaturity in my drawing. And yet the drawing as a whole seems appealing to me. A strange love I have for this indeed. This is another product of Government class. Paper, pencil, and sheer boredom.
Poor Mina. If I didn't love drawing her hair, I'd hardly draw her at all. This isn't one of my faves, but maybe it will strike your fancy. It's the first time I went for a pose. I'm going to do better next time. Maybe I'll revamp this in the future. Pencil and paper. Oh, if I only had a brain...
Setsuna! O Trista! My least fav of all the Sailors. But only because she's the most underdeveloped to me- I still have yet to see Stars, and about half of SuperS. Sigh. I know. I suck.

I'm actually really fond of this pic. It's one of my best sketches! Everything looks perfect to me. Well, maybe I should draw her more often, ne? Paper, pencil, and a lot of creativity.

I really feel sorry for Beryl's manga character. She had a hint of development that really wasn't given much explanation. That's all good for fan fic writers, but not so much for others. I oughta giver her some more history...

I know, I know... I started with the legs and just... kept going... down... I always remember that when I think of Beryl- crazy long red hair, a crystal ball floating between her hands, and that endless purple dress... I think I did ok with this. Not my best, but do take note. Pencil and some sketchbook. I'm too tired to look.

I was trying to think of names for pages dedicated to each of the Outers, and I started sketching head shots for the Outers. And you know what? They all turned out really well. Except for Amarah's, but I'm working on that. This is Hotaru's version, the last I did. The actual sketch didn't turn out so well, but I modified it with my delightful Adobe PD. It's great now. Maybe one day, I'll make this into a button with a great name for Saturn's page... Pencil in Third Sketchbook.
The second one of the series of Outer's headshots. I love drawing Michelle's profile. I always think of a mother when I'm drawing her. This is one of my better sketches of a profile. Pencil in Third Sketchbook.
This is just a random picture of Michelle in a swimsuit. I can't remember my thought process at the time. It was just something random for a random moment. I wasn't to happy going beyond a headshot, but I need to start focusing on creating whole characters. Painfully, painfully... Pencil in third sketchbook.
Raye! She's so cool! I'm actually not happy with this sketch... it's too... DBZ-style? I don't know. It's skewed in a way I can't understand and can't appreciate. But it's Raye. I gotta put it up. I'm trying to tackle her uniform, but I've never been good with clothes...

Blue 42... hut... set... hike! Pencil in fourth sketchbook.

Luna is not one of my favorite characters. She's great and all, but there are times when I really wonder what she really feels. Which is crazy, because she really isn't that ambiguous a character. Grrr. Anyway, this is my first fan attempt with animals. Not too shabby. I can do cats fairly well. This probably means I can do puppies. Maybe I should try something... Pencil in fourth sketchbook.
This was the first of the series of Outers I drew. I like drawing Trista... she's a really great character to draw. Still haven't seen enough episodes of her. Definitely should. I bet I could get a lot of ideas going about her... Pencil in third sketchbook.

Gundam Wing

Middie is a great character. Very fun to draw. So when I first broke out my very own watercolors, she was the first person I attempted to capture. And... the result was interesting. I was happy until I did her eyes. Yeah... she's cross-eyed... so she is now a fast sketch of a drunk Middie! Woo-hoo!

A little side note... I had the heads of Chibi-Trowa and Chibi-Duo around her, but they got cut off in the scan... I'm sure you can use your imagination... Watercolor on Watercolor Paper.

Dorothy. So misunderstood by fans. And with so little screen time in Endless Waltz. Sheesh.

I imagine she's giving a little glare to the producers of Gundam Wing. Drawn in my first sketchbook, pencil on paper.

This guy... yummy...

To be honest, he wasn't duo. He started out as a just an "anime guy", a guy similar to the one of my dreams. And then he became Trunks of DBZ (Och, what a cute lad!). And then... a few pencil marks and I had Duo. A yummy Duo. For your viewing pleasure! Pencil on paper.

This is the first time I attempted to draw the upper half of a male body nude. And it started out well enough. But then, things went a bit sour. So I slapped some jeans on him and stopped. Heero even looks a bit uncomfortable bare chested in this. Still, I love his face. Sigh... Relena is so lucky...

P.S.- Ever notice how THICK Heero's eyebrows are? That always seemed odd to me... maybe there is a little Catalonia in him or something... First sketch book, paper and pencil.

It didn't turn out like I had hoped, but I still think it resembles Middie. And for that reason, I place her here. She looks very, proud. Maybe she she would have grown up to be a proud, arrogant woman. First sketch book, paper and pencil.

Also available in color! Colored with Adobe Photodeluxe 2.0- my fav program.

(chokes producers) Why didn't you give her an official part?! (GAO lets them go with disgust. Said producers gasp and make a thud as they hit the floor before chasing GAO with lawsuits)

My favorite couple. Well, GW couple.

I still don't get the beef people have with this pairing. But that's a rant. An I have no ranting on this page. Well, unless it involves... no... never mind...

First sketch book. Pencil. Paper. Effort. My first attempt at a couple drawing.

Wow. OK, so I got a bit carried away with the eyes. But I'm proud of the hair, dang it. It's really hard for me to actually "draw" blonde hair. And not just sketch. I mean DRAW. I usually have so many lines, it looks... well, non-blonde. So I post this. Paper under pencil.
I was going for Middie. And then I got this. "Older Middie". She looks like she's in her twenties. But she still maintains that certain arrogance I usually give her... but she's a lot more sophisticated in this one. I wonder how well she dances? First sketch book, paper, pencil, and a hand or two of mine.
Evil, thy name is perspective. Which is why I cut the chair out.

Relena is one of my favorite characters of all times. Truly. I think she's a peach and a great person to be like. Only wish there were more people who realized that...

First sketch book, paper, pencil, and a little creativity.

This is a bit of an earlier work. Done in my sketchbook, which is why there is that nasty fade to gray bit on the right edge. It couldn't be helped. Either my sanity went or the image. Fortunately, I'm a very flexible (emotionally/psychologically/mentally) being.

Have I mentioned Relena as being one of my fav characters? She looks a bit childish in this. Ah, well. Consider it as a pre-GW picture. First sketch book, paper, and pencil.

I was determined to make a young Middie. A girl. And what do I get? A slip of a girl softly pouring forth tears absolute loneliness and utter sadness. I don't think I can remove the tears from her without aging her. Sigh. First sketch book, paper and... ok, I admit, a pencil. Geez. I'm trying to expand my repertoire of media.
I had thist great sketch of an "anime guy". I spent a lot of time on it. I perfected it. And then I made it into Trowa.

I severely underestimate his bangs. Funny thing is, I think the depicted Trowa knows this. Pencil, paper, and a lot of time on my hands.

This started out as Midii. Then I made her hair straight. And then I said to myself, "Self... forget it. Just draw an interesting outfit on her and see what happens." And so I did. And what do I get? A not-great-but-pretty-interesting young Lady Une. Yeah! My first Lady Une pic. I'm glad that I didn't draw her in uniform. I think that her Saint Une personality would be her original personality. I suppose that would make her character and Relena's similar. Gah! What an idea!

Second sketch book, paper, pencil, and my inner thoughts.

Why did I name this YummyTrowa? Because it's a incredibly yummy Trowa. I'm getting so good at heads.

Not only do I think Trowa looks yummy, the depicted Trowa looks like HE thinks he's yummy. And like anime Trowa would do, he takes it all in stride and let's you gaze at him. Mmmmmm... Second sketch book, paper, pencil, and the inspiration of Paul, my teddy bear. God love him.

Ooooooooooo... I love this sketch of Midii. And the thumbnail only has her cross rather than the face... I love it.

I did a couple sketches of an adult Midii for a fic I was planning. I developed a kind of style when drawing her... This is a product of the style. It really appeals to me... I suppose this might mean I could be sketching her again? Wow, that sentence... tentative, thy name is plastered afore. I want to try and get the original two of her that I have, but they are on lined paper... grrr...

Paper in third sketchbook and pencil.

I just wanted to draw a dress, I swear! Then I decided to draw the mask, and then... gah... Relena is so cool!

I think the mask looks really funky. Like it's obviously a mask. Hm...

Pencil, paper, and a brain.

Slowly by slowly... attempting perspective? Nah... this was on a random page with some profile sketches. Turned it into Midii. Badda-bing, Badda-boom!~ Done deal. And no, I'm not deleting the squiggly. I think it's cute. It ought to be used more in the English language. The fourth sketchpad and my pencil.
This was actually going to be Trowa and Midii dancing, but then he looked kinda funny... I really don't think that's Trowa. But that IS Midii. And they are definitely dancing. And two out of three is DEFINITELY not bad. I think it's cute. She looks so happy!! Lucky girl. I wish I could draw me a guy for real life. Me and my fourth sketchpad at work, here.
Wow!!!! Noin!!!! This was kind of fun to do. And I really like Noin's character. I'm sad that she seemed to hide in Zech's shadow. But if she likes it... I oughta draw her and Zechs together some time...

I guess Noin is a baby step towards drawing a better Trowa. And by drawing the two of them, I can pick out the differences between boys and girls easier (such similarities between those two! Anyone want to write a fanfic about that??). Twas me whodunit, with the pencil, on the fourth sketchbook. When? Dude, lay off.

Ha ha!! Another Relena. I love it. Well, she didn't turn out that well. In fact, she looks a tone like Lady Une. I need to watch GW again... character lines... begin to become... fuzzy...

fourth sketchbook.... pencill....... (yes, 2 l's)

Dragon Ball Z

I don't really like the Dragon Ball series. Or any of it's related series. Why? Because I've only seen the American dub, for one thing. But I hear great things about the original. One day.

One great thing about watching the dub is that I've fallen in love. With whom, you may ask? Or may not. Either way, I'm writing it. Trunks. Who had the brilliance to create him? Has there ever been a greater anime hunk? Well, yeah, but he's one of the greatest. And the fact that he's cute AND in the style of other DBZ characters makes his beauty even greater (read: I don't like the drawing style of DBZ). The only one I would ever draw other than Trunks is Bulma. I'm a great fan of Bulma. That girl's got skills, attitude, and she doesn't come across as a caricature of a woman like I think Chichi does. The only reason I like Vegeta is because he has the great sense to be "in love" with Bulma. And have Trunks (insert wide grin here!).

This guy started out as some guy I randomly dreamed of and ended as a modified Trunks. I later made him look like Duo of Gundam Wing. However, I feel the need to share the great original picture. It's the only version I have of the original, as the original on paper is altered now. Sadly, sadly. So I mentioned paper, and now I mention the pencil, and I stop typing.

I'm not done by far. I've got a lifetime to get better and post. As always, encouragement is welcome!
