The Dreamworld community leaders and cosmic volunteers have a great interest in the development of Area51 themed sites, especially Star Wars sites. There are many sites that helps make up Dreamworld and we like to encourage and promote talent and people's efforts.  Below are samples of the awards we offer for Area51 themes websites. A description of each is included.     Dreamworld Illusion Award -- This award is is given out to any Area51 themed site that has only been made within the past three months. The awards is given to those sites that demonstrate an owner's committment to the development of their site.   Dreamworld Illusion Elite Award -- This award is given out to any Area51 themed site that has been around for more than three months. The site must demonstrate an owner's committment to their site.   Dreamworld Jedi Master Award -- This award is given exclusively to Star Wars sites that can serve as a shining example of the best of the Star Wars web universe.    These awards are not given lightly -- only sites that demonstrate hard work and dedication are recipients. As these are awards restricted to Area51 themed sites, please note that you must be applying for a site that fits the theme (see the Area51 Resource Center for specifics). If you believe your site or someone else's site deserves recognition, please read the criteria first and refer to the Tutorial pages for hints on good design and other tips before applying.     See the winners of the award and their homepages.  The theme teams may have your gift.   The criteria we look for in award winning sites Originality Original information and content is a prize find on the net. We have all been on the net long enough to know that a site with little thought and creativity invested in them are boring, and sites that give us something to be excited about are the ones who will win. Content The site must have a central theme. No smattering of loose odds and ends all placed in one page. Sites cannot be commercially oriented nor should there be any pornography and other distasteful elements within. Style Though content is and always will be king, the layout and style of the site will be nearly as important. Graphics should ideally be mostly original, and the layout unique. We don't ask for stunning artistry, just a layout that is sensible and stays unobtrusively in the background. Function Sites that are filled with under construction signs will not be considered for the award. All good sites are constantly under construction, and if your site is not ready, you should defer applying for this award until a better time. Quality Quality is the harmonic combination of all the elements that set apart average sites from superior sites. Clear navigation, clarity of writing, distinctive graphics, original ideas, and volume of content all contribute to this characteristic. Subjectivism CLs are human too and we have our own likes and dislikes. Therefore some subjectivism on our part is still a factor, but we promise to carry out decisions with the greatest care and judge as fairly as we can. These awards will not be given to all that apply.
