My Past

In the beginning:

Edward Nigma was a video game designer who was responsible for a smash hit game. When he was unjustly fired by his employer, Nigma took on the persona of the Riddler to seek revenge using his passion for conundrums. Although he has attempted to reform, The Riddler is obsessed with being smarter than Batman, leaving riddles to stump the Dark Knight in his pursuit. The Riddler's insistence on puzzles and clues in his crimes are often his undoing.

In the movies:

The Riddler returns as Edward Nygma working on a device that sucks the intelligence out of people's minds. He wants to know everyone's secrets, including those of the dark knight himself. As always he leaves riddles to his whereabouts and Batman catches up with him to foil his plans.

In the Labyrinth:

The Riddler becomes entranced by the intricate maze and it's inhabitants. Everything is unique and strange which makes him feel at home. Traveling through the labyrinth he meets many new creatures and even finds a way to meet the talented listians there who write fanfiction based on the movie. He seems more 'loving'to the undergroundlings and even begins his own stories and riddles inspired by the Henson film.
