This is Blaze and Petee's page, Buddy is 

There too,, :-)

Blaze is a Sun Conure and Petee is a Senegal. They have become best buds, and love to hang out together. They love to preen each other, and share food. It's very cute to see them when they are eating, because they swap food back and forth between them.

It is actually very unusual that these two species would become friends. So, for me,, I always enjoy watching their interactions, knowing that it's fairly unusual that they would be friends. Blaze's kind come from South America and Petee's ancestors are from Africa so there is no way they would ever meet in the wild.

They are also not jealous of the attention I give them. I can have either of them individually with me for cuddles and pets and the other doesn't get jealous. I can also have them cuddling or on my shoulders at the same time, with no problems between them. So, it's a wonderful setup, they are happy and I love to cuddle them both at the same time.

They love going outside in the sunshine, and I  have a cage that they can both be in, and we sit outside at my picnic table, soaking up the sunshine.

Here are some pictures of the two of them. There are also a couple of pictures of Buddy the Meyers checking out the water, he decided he didn't want to go for a dip. He doesn't hang too much with Petee and Blaze,, he likes to hang by himself.
