Spellbinder's ASTRO-PHOTO's

Here is my scope that I used to photographed the Orion Nebula, the Moon and "piggy backed" the camera to take the other pictures.

This picture of Orion Nebula(M-42) was done in 15min.using a C-8 scope and 1000asa film.

This picture of Orion Nebula above is a 20 min. exposure at 1000asa useing a C-8 celestron.(Note the differents of what 5min. does)

Here we have a picture of the north american nebula in Cygnus.(Note the masses of stars in this photo and how they seem to fuse into each other, yet even in the tightest cluster, they are light years apart.)

These two pictures of HaleBopp comet, the first one taken in the evening, and the second one was in the morning sky.(Both pictures were "piggy-backed" on the C-8 scope.)

Both of these pictures are comet Hyakutake, first one near Polaris and the second one during the evening one month before it's close Polaris passing.(Note the color of the comet's tail is rich blue.

These two are of a May of 1994 eclipse. The first one is through the C-8"scope using 200asa film at 1sec. exposure and"piggy-backed" the second shot on the scope at 10sec. exposure.(Note: On the second picture of the lunar sclipse, the only star visible is "The Eye Of The Bull"--ALDEBARAN---)

Here we have the Sagitarius star cloud. What your seeing is the center of the galaxy.

Here we have the Orion Nebula and star field.(Both of these pictures were piggy-backed and exposure was 15 to 20 minutes on the camera.)
