To Stormkeeper members:

Since the inception of the Stormkeeper squad the membership has grown to over 90+ members of diverse ages, nationalities and ethnic backgrounds. All members young and old enjoy the fellowship that Starsiege and other internet games have brought to us.
Recent experience has shown us that what a person thinks is appropriate behavior may not be for others. In response to some suggestions, the Officers of Stormkeepers have gotten together to form a code of conduct,("COC").The membership is urged to follow the code in order that we all may have fun in the game and forums. We do not wish to censure any member or to create a environment of rigid rules, we think this would be counter productive to our objective, which is to have fun and enjoy each other.
The following is a code of conduct that all Stormkeepers are urged to follow if and when they use the [SK] Moniker by their call sign.

STORMKEEPER CODE OF CONDUCT:

Disrespectful conduct by SK members is not acceptable, either to other SK members or other game players.
Taunting of opponents is acceptable as long as it does not take the form of personal attacks.

Please do not use swearing or cursing in the games or on the forums, as the use of colorful language is offensive to a great number of people.

There are a few terms use in the game. They are PK-(pad killer), TK-(team killer), and spawn killer. PK: This is a person that kills another while they are on a repair or reload pad.
TK: This is a person that kills another while they are on the same team.
Spawn killer is a person that kills another at the moment the other player drops into the game.

Spawn killing is not an acceptable action by any Stormkeeper as it is lacking in honor.
This also holds true for team killing. As for killing the TK on your team, bad idea. He is there just to get you to do that and there by get the better of you.
We feel that one of the best actions you can take is to leave the game. The next best action is to get even and make it a hard time for them. To do this you can get in their face and let them kill you every time you respawn. They will get bored, frustrated, and soon leave if you do not fight them.

Pad killing,
If you are in battle with someone and they run to a pad you may kill them. What you should not do is go kill someone on a pad or spawning into the game. Nor should you set at a pad and wait for them as they heal.

We understand that the performance of others can tend to make us angry and slip into "bad forms of communication", but remember that it's just a game. If someone is making you angry you always have the option of using the escape key to get out and cool off or go to another game.

Please do not post complaints about other members on the public forums as they do not belong there. If any member has a grievance that cannot be resolved privately between the two members he or she is advised to contact the Counsellor either by E-Mail or ICQ so that the grievance is handled internally. The grievance will then be examined by the Officers of Stormkeepers and the decisions will be made by them.

The StormKeepers have developed a reputation of being honorable warriors in Starsiege, it is an honor that we can be proud of, however with that honor is a responsibility that we all share.

For many players of Starsiege helping others and honor are of the utmost importance, point count in the game has little meaning to them. They are the ones that chase you to a pad and if you make it they let you go. They are the ones that will stop fighting in mid battle to tell another how to use the repair pad, link their wapons, etc. They are what you should work toward becoming.

Remember the main objective is to have fun......
