I was fortunate enough to have been able to attend the Star Wars Celebration in Denver in 1999. It was a wonderful experience, and I met a lot of genuine, caring people, some of whom I have forged valuable friendships with. This is a collection of a few of the pics that I managed to get before my camera died! What a time for that to happen! Oh well, at least there are a lot of pics out there to remind me of what a great time I had...

Here I am hangin' with one of the legends of the Star Wars universe - Warwick Davis. A truly nice person who was most accomodating to all of us pesky fans!

Uh-oh! TK102 off duty and a long way from home is mistaken for a Rebel sympathiser!? I don't know how, as I was proudly displaying my Imperial insignia on my jacket. Luckily I managed to convince them of my unwavering Allegiance to the Almighty Emperor anyway! The Troopers are Pascal Biondi (TK269) and Marc Baier (TK???) all the way from the Swiss Garrison

Here's a pic of the BEST Vader costume I've ever seen - not that I've seen many, but it would take a LOT of beating. And the worst thing is, I can't remember his name... Anyone out there know?

The rank and file! A nice collection of Officers, with some Troopers in suits modelled from the Return of the Jedi's Stormtroopers. Yeah, they look pretty cool, but - just between you and me - I like mine better!

Here's an interesting scenario - Darth Vader in the Court of Jabba the Hutt? This was a funkadelic setup from the people at Legends in 3 Dimensions, where you could get your photo taken with the Slimelord of the galaxy.

This dude's pretty fly - for a Jedi. He's got a cool toy too - it's a lightsaber that makes all the cool humming sounds when you wave it around. Neato!

As if it wasn't bad enough having a Jedi there! Oh well, each to their own, I guess...

Here's an example of what you can do when you've got a spare minute or two and a few tens of thousands of pieces of black Lego to play with!

Same again, only with blue, white and gray Lego...
