THE HIVE WORLD OF NECROMUNDA
The world of Necromunda is not a pleasant one. Thousands of years of industry and pollution has made the world very unpleasant indeed. People live in great sealed cities called Hives. The greatest of these hives is called Hive Primus, and is the capital of the world. Here lives the ruler of this unpleasant planet; Geronitus Helmawr, in the top of the spire. The spire is the home of the seven great clans called the Noble Houses. Below the Spire is a adamantium wall that seals it from the Hive City. In the Hive City the Houses of the Hive live and work. Each House is a industrial empire of itīs own and the workers in each House is called Hivers. They live a cruel and hard life, never seeing the sun and enduring serious hardships. Some of them want to seek a new and maybe better life and they trek even further down the Hive into the Underhive. The Underhive is more than any other section of the Hive controlled by The Merchant Guild. They control the traffic between Houses. The gangs of the Badzones are decendants from settlers in the Underhive and has lived here for longer than they can remember. Itīs here in the Badzones we fight to gain control over as much territory as we can - making that new and better life our ancestors promised.............
