Following that, joined Yashoda
Hospital in ICCU as a resident.
Worked with very good specialists and learnt a lot....Just to name a few: Dr Dayasagar Rao, Dr Somanath ....both were good teachers too.. ICCU Team was good....Yeah, my
colleagues taught me a lot... |
Over a few months.. I decided on changing
the course of my career from that of clinical to non-clinical... Put my thinking caps on .... .. with lots of discussions and advice I decided to join the Pharmaceutical Industry. Got an opportunity to join Dr Reddy's in the Discovery research and later Corporate Medical Services. Learnt how to operate a computer at Dr Reddy's :) Besides Clinical research, was involved in Medico-marketing, Sales force trainings, IT initiatives etc. Guided a team that developed India's first EDC system. Now in market as Clinion. And soon this realization of technology in clinical trials made me move to a software company in June 2001. Next 6.5 years (June 2001-Jan 2008) I worked for Information Technology companies with a focus on Clinical Research Information Management systems. |

Infosys
and
Oracle
gave me great opportunities to work closely with World leading eClinical systems and companies. And, in January 2008, my career completed a full circle and I moved back to Life Sciences industry.
