so now I try to cover up the truth
like a politican in an election year
I don't want it to infiltrate my mind
getting my concious all dirty
I don't want to feel...
a wee bit...
...uncomfortable...
I wonder where I can sign up
to get that job as a politican?
Shove It All Under The Rug
Everything's gonna be OK
Just shove it all under the rug
and live in a dream world.
When the dirt starts peaking out
from beneath the edges of the rug,
just get a new one.
When the old one is too small,
keep adding rugs to hide the dirt -
Vola. The tower of Babel from the Bible
built out of soft fuzzy yarn.
Then someone trips over your creation
and sues you for $100,000,000.95
for a broken toenail.
