Invisible Girl

That's it. Ignore me.
Everyone else does. No one ever notices me.
I'm undetectable with the human eye.
I'm transparent.
I'm see through.
I can't be seen nor heard.
I'm an invisible girl
In a cruel, cruel world.

Sometimes someone tries to walk through me.
And when I tell them that they're standing on my foot,
They looked shocked and scared.
They know I was there.
They walk away quickly,
Leaving me with a hurt foot.

But that's not all that they hurt.
My feelings.
Oh, that's right.
I don't have feelings.
I don't exist.
I'm an invisible girl
In a cruel, cruel world.

That's it.
Walk away.
Everyone else does.
I don't exist.
I'm nothing.
I wander around looking for a friend.
But no one sees me.
No one cares.
I don't exist.

Hello?
Are you listening?
You looked like you noticed me a second ago.
Maybe you heard me screaming at you.
No, it probably was the wind.
But people notice the wind. . .
It couldn't be that.

You look over at me.
So you finially noticed me,
The wisper in the summer's breeze,
The invisible 'ghost' who has been 'haunting' you

Don't be supprized.
No one knows that I exist.
I'm undetectable with the human eye.
I'm transparent.
I'm see through.
I can't be seen nor heard.
I'm an invisible girl
In a cruel, cruel world.
