Love Makes A House A Home
By Elizabeta

A pretty little Victorian cottage
Sitting high on a hill
Everything seems so happy and perfect
But that won't last and it never will
The problem isn't on the outside,
For it's rotten to the core
There's a rich family living there,
But there's no love when you walk through the door
There are some place happiness never roams
Because love makes a house a home
~Chorus~
Doesn't matter if you live in a mansion,
A trailer or a Chevy van
Cause a family that hates each other cannot stand
You can have a happy house or someplace
Where love never roams
For love makes a house a home
Down the road there is a rickety little shack
The steps are broken and the roof's falling down
But you can't find a happier home all over town
All the stuck up rich folks drive by with haste
But there is a ton of love in that shabby little place
The house is rickety and the family's poor
But there is love rolling out the door
There are some places where love likes to roam
Because love makes a house a home
~Chorus~
Most people don't want to live in a shack
Where everything's wrong
They seem to like the unhappy mansions
Where money buys love and right is wrong
The rich people should learn a lesson
From the poor folks in the shack
But there's still a chance to change their ways
Still a chance for love to come back
~Chorus~
