First Signs of Spring

Rain
pouring down
like
tears
upon a once barren land
now tinted with many
shades of
green
and little
splashes of
red, yellow and
white
Geese in the grass
look like...
swans swimming in an
emrald sea
Sweet beauty;
fresh like
dew kissed
tulips..
Ah, the first signs of spring.
