Lovers everywhere.
I see them walk down the street holding hands
And whispering in each others ears.
They're unaware of my pain,
My sorrow,
My anger.
They're in their own little world...
Like I once was
Before you destroyed it when you left me.
I was living in a nice, warm place
Where everything was perfect.
Now I'm stuck in the cruel, cold world.
I was once observing life in a protected realm.
Now I'm outside looking in.

The pain I felt when you left me
Is like one of Cupid's arrows went through my heart.
My tears fall and splash on the ground
Like my heart that shattered into a million pieces.

These love songs are making me sick.
Every sweet note makes my heart break a little more
Until there is nothing left
Except memories of you and I.
But they will go away.
Wounds always heal.
It just takes time.
But I will still be left with a scar.
Of a love gone wrong,
A ghost,
A memory,
But I can get over it.
After all,
Valentines day is only for 24 hours.
