Aegis is a
world of heros and legends. This text is not set up like an atlas, merely telling
you of locations and dates. I am attempting to tell the stories of the great events
that transpired to create these places so you gain real feel of the heart of the
world. The world of Aegis is largely based on ancient Greco-Roman ideas, but is also
influenced by Norse, Kelt, and others. This is a land whos closest neighbor is its greatest enemy and the lands across the oceans have only been seen by the bravest of adventurers. You live in a time of legends and glory, the great war of the 4th era was over 2000 years ago and dark stirrings can be heard across the glimmering downs. Interseting times are once again upon the land, and it is time to make your legend. |
