Students Rights, Rules, and Responsibilities at Druid Circle

Druid's Circle School of Witchcraft and Wizardry is dedicated to learning and to creating the proper learning environment that every student is entitled to. It is the Students responsibility to help create that environment by following the rules set down by the school and by not abusing the priveledges that the students have.

Student Rights

Students have the right to learn.

Students have the right to participate in Student Government.

Students have the right to associate with other students.

Students have the right to due process.

Students have the right to have their records remain confidential and private.

Students have the right to a legal familiar, i.e. cats, rats, frogs, toads, bats, owls, but not snakes.

Student Responsibilities

Students have the responsibility to maintain conduct that is appropriate for the school environment, and to treat other students, faculty, and staff with respect.

Students have the responsibility to maintain academic excellence, and to follow the academic honor code.

Students have the responsibility to follow all school rules.

Students have the responsibility of taking care of their familiars.

School Rules

Dueling may only take place between two consenting students, provided that a staff member agrees to referee. No permanent, pain-inflicting, or unforgiveable curses are permitted. Any student found dueling privately, or breaking these rules will be expelled.

Fighting, outside of dueling, is not permitted.

Use of magic, outside of classrooms and other designated areas, is forbidden.

Cheating is not permissible. Any student caught cheating will be expelled.

Drugs and alcohol are not allowed anywhere on campus. First offense will be a warning, second offense will mean probation, third offense will mean expulsion.
