Billywack

Billywack

Billywack is a hulking creature, part man, part beast. It is the closest thing that Ventura County has to the legendary monster "Big Foot." It is covered with coarse matted white hair and resembles a well-developed man with powerful biceps. The strangest thing about the creature is its head--it is said to resemble the head of a ram! The story goes that the creature is the product of some strange genetic experiment that went wrong. It was done at an old dairy up on Aliso Canyon. The Billywack Dairy is the center for the monster that is today linked to the site. Many teenagers driving that road late at night have said that they have seen the monster, complete with its distinctive set of horns. The monster is said to have gotten mad at a group of teens and using a tree limb as a "billy" club pounded so hard on a car's hood that it was permanently dented. Some stories have the monster throwing large rocks weighing fifty pounds at cars. Many of the stories of the thing are linked to Santa Paula High School where the monster is almost an official mascot. I have been investigating this creature pictured above (called "The Billywack" Monster). The sightings are usually around an abandoned dairy and it is said to live in underground caves and man-made tunnel located in a rural Ventura County valley. I have been told that this creature is a product of a secret genetic engineering project by the OSS during the Second World War. It has been seen by credible witnesses usually carrying a club and is shaid to be quite tall, walking with agility on two feet. It seems to resemble a "hairy human" but has "ram-like horns and hooves." This does remind one vaguely of the "bigfoot" sightings. Unlike "bigfoot" the creatures hates human beings and has caused damage to automobiles. I am preparing to do some "underground" investigation on this creature soon. There will be some more information upcoming on this page regarding this investigation as soon as possible. I am currently collecting information for a book on this subject. If anyone has heard of similar creatures linked to genetic engineering, please contact me at We Trust No 1 I believe more may exist in the United States.
