This is my function generator with frequency counter
The frequency counter is used a preprogrammed pic16f84a and schematic i found from searching the internet. Th frequency counter goes up 50Mhz. The function generator use a max038 ic. I use 4 capacitor for four frequency ranges. i one op amp the vary voltage instead of current to adjust the frequency. Two more op-amps to do the same four the duty cycle adjust. The output amp has 2.5 voltage gain and use potentometer to adjust the gain of the op-amp which in turn adjust the p-p voltage output. The output has 50 or 75 ohms for impedance matching.
