I've lived in Weatherford, Texas all of my life. My early memories are filled with stories passed down to me by the old timers. . . the kind of stories which I listened to with amazement, but a total lack of belief. I assumed that the tales were merely myths created to entertain the over active imaginations of the more youthful members of our community. . . I didn't realize the truth until I came face to face with the beast because
It only took a moment for my life to totally change, and I know that I'll never be the same again.
A subdued rustling sound heard off in the distance. A rush of confusion followed. The seemingly tranquil Lake Weatherford was suddenly upset by an unreasonably absurd presence.
Lives are changed abruptly, depriving even the strongest men of their courage. Lacking the power of thought, the uneasiness overtakes them.
As a young boy I remember swimming and fishing in the swampy waters and marsh land which Weatherford, Texas is known for. Those are the happy memories of innocence, before I knew the true horror that was lurking near.
An accursedly unnamable race clawing its way around the once peaceful community, with leering eyes that seem to glow in the dark, they wait, as if they're mocking us.
Unspeakably true. . . Absurdly unreasonable. Occurrences which would make anyone disregard logic. A heart racing shock that will open your eyes.
The sky over Weatherford, Texas continues to light up nightly with mysterious alien space crafts. Residents have to be somewhat confused about their future.
An old Indian legend, dating back a hundred generations, identified the gator infested Weatherford, Texas as the cosmic magnet of the universe, which may explain why these space aliens have such a keen interest in the area.. .
Some people actually believe that space aliens have moved into our community, posing as human beings thereby easily intergrading into Weatherford high society.
Even at the risk of being made into an outcast, more people in our community are coming forward with our dark secrets.
