The inexorable Mr James Robert Tidgy Middleton Esq. III Jr. OBE as he is today has been through a lot. From the small kid everyone picked on at school to the guitarist and friend of the greatest band in Britain... the Wurzles. For a brief period of time he leant his talents to a group of wandering minstrels (above). They made a brief stop at Reading College, Reading and had a practice in a rehearsal room. Such was the awfulness of this brief encounter that the young James felt compelled to help them in their quest for world domination. He joined their group (which shortly became OffSwitch,) and a beast was born. Playing their first gig at a school in Bracknell, OffSwitch new this is what they wanted to do, and that these four rag tag, strangely odoured musicians would become the best of friends, inside, and outside of the bedroom. Playing a string of further gigs in Newbury and Reading they continue to bring their own brand of upbeat rock to the busy Berkshire streets. As for the Wurzles, their lawyers are suing James for the use of their comedy wigs onstage.
