To join our writing staff:

Rules for Submissions:
1. All people may submit articles to the newsletter. There are no limitations based on RPG groups, geographic location, rank, or anything else. External conflicts between RPGs do not impact the articles within "Captain's Log".

2. "Captain's Log" is not, nor will we ever be, an advertisement board for various Role Playing Games. Submissions will be rejected should the editors consider them to be advertisements.

3. Excessive use of profanity and other "colorful metaphors" are not to be placed within articles (with the exception of Dr. McCoy's famous phrases ie. "Damn it Jim, I'm a doctor, not a writer".

4. Keep all content PG-Rated. Remember, this newsletter is for people of all ages, and explicitly adult material should be avoided.

5. Send all submissions to captainslog@bigfoot.com by the 20th of every month if you want them to be included in the upcoming month's newsletter.

NOTE: Captain's Log maintains the right to censor or reject any submissions we recieve if the material in them is deemed to be inappropriate or in violation of these rules for submission. We also reserve the right to postpone the publishing of an article untill the next month if it is either submitted past the deadline or our upcoming issue is already too full. In fact, we reserve the right to reject submissions for any reason...although we've never done so without giving one. =)
