Why? you ask. He's a freak, dork, etc...ANNOYING is a good word to describe him. Now don't get me wrong, I don't hate all Solos. I think his parents are a damned cool couple, in fact. So I don't understand how their offspring could such losers

I'm sure Zahn had nothing but good intentions when he created the kids, but thanks to KJA (Burger Boy), they've been mutated into Luke Skywalker wannabes that do nothing but annoy and bug you (me, anyway) It's my belief that one of the Solo boys should carry out the Solo legacy and run away from home, become a hot shot pilot/smuggler, roam the galaxy recklessly until they meet a well-to-do woman/princess settle down with her then have a son who will either run away from home or become an orphan. Since Jacen has inherited the Solo trademark (a cocky grin) I think he should be the one to go through with this! (ok, so I have weird ideas and I know too much about the Solos, sue me)

Jacen's jokes are the lamest I've ever heard, and I don't think all the lights are on upstairs, if you know what I mean. Why is he so obsessed with his animals, anyway? Han's not even that obsessed with the Millenium Falcon!

Where do these kids come from, anyway? These are HAN SOLO and PRINCESS LEIA's kids we're talking about! The same Han Solo and Princess Leia who were at each other's neck for three years! How can these kids get along so well? They sleep in the same room, for crying out loud! (the Corellian Trilogy) I have a brother, if I had to share my room with him, I'd most likely take a gun to my head!

"Blaser Bolts!" Now that's a quote that really makes me angry. How old is this kid?!?! 14-16 right? Cripes! Where did he get this? He grew up around Han "Kest, STANG!!" Solo, didn't he? I could picture Luke at 14, "damn" Leia at 14, "crap." Han at 14, "F***!! HOLY SH**! STANG!" Why does Jacen have only "blaster bolts"? The whole world could be coming to an end, and the only curse he would be able to come up with: blaster bolts.

Moving on, Jaina is the other Solo kid that really gets on my nerves. She's almost as bad as her brother. Does she always have to be so perky? Anakin's not so bad, so I don't have anything negative to say 'bout him. :)

Of course, we know that the kids can't help it if they're annoying. The real credit for their stupidity goes to Kevin J. Anderson and Rebecca Moesta. I don't know who keeps hiring KJA, but I think it's about time they get fired. From what I've heard, KJA does an excellent job with the X-files books, but SW-wise he stinks. His writing is far too simplistic for my tastes. I realize that the YJK books are aimed at readers slightly younger than me, but if that's the case, it's about time the bookstores put the YJK series with the kids books, instead of right next to the works of Zahn and Crispin.
