The following are all laws, customs, and geographic environments submitted and voted on by club members. Suggestions for new laws or for the editing of an old law must be submitted to the Warrior Magistrate. Members will then vote on the suggested law, and if it is passed, it will be posted here. Please adhere to these laws and settings in your stories and submissions. *You can have a character break the laws, just acknowledge that they _are_ breaking the law.*

LAWS

The pass to Riverwind is always guarded. Fairie scouts hide in the oak tree that overlooks the pass entrance, and every being entering and exiting RiverWind by the pass is immediately reported to General Gwayne, Prince Reialan, or another member of the Council.

Any being entering the valley must live within the jurisdiction of the High Guard.

Dragons may not be fed within the confines of the city walls.

Stealing, murder, public drunkeness, indecent exposure, and all other common sense crimes are all forbidden in RiverWind. Prostitution is not illegal, but highly frowned upon.

CUSTOMS

Festivals are celebrated that adhere pretty closely to the Celtic/pagan ones. That is: Beltane, Midsummer, Imbolc, Albernathuan, etc.

Dragons have an annual meeting at a field (to be defined) where they make decisions on all matters dragon. On this occasion no dragons try to kill any of their peers or make attempts to confiscate each others' treasure.

GEOGRAPHY AND ENVIRONMENT

Dragons roam in a vast expanse of mountainranges and there are innumerable caverns and tunnels to cross them unseen. Dragons agree to guard any exits and entrances to this range that allow access to the outer world.

The castle of RiverWind is situated in a fork of the Silkstream, with drawbridges crossing each waterway. One of the main human settlements is just across the left hand side of this fork, and on the right hand side is a path leading into the main body of the forest. Along this path are various houses, huts and farmland.

It is currently possible to alter parts of Riverwind; especially at this time since Riverwind is barely being created, so long as it does not interfere with geography already in place, and no one has any objection to it.

There are some monks who have built a temple to the northern part of Riverwind and the temple is located on the side of a mountain. The monks are lead by Tsang Foo, who is to be created by each member as he is written in submissions. Therefore, all members who use the character Tsang Foo will contribute to his development.
The monks were allowed to enter the valley because they are peaceful and do not engage in battle with anyone unless they are seriously provoked or their lives are threatened. The temple is a refuge for many travelers or patients seeking medical attention. The monks can heal almost any disease or injury, but they cannot perform any miracles. Whatever it is that the monks can heal should be decided by the writer and either approved or rejected by the Council.
