Ok, don't say I didn't warn you. Here it is a brief view into my world.
IRL My name is Vicki Wright. I'm a 27 year old girl from Kent, England. (Some small town where nothing ever happens!) I've just started my fifth year of teaching....Time flies when you're having fun! Started a new challenge last year when I changed schools. Certainly different here!
Uni life was great! Still miss it...Except for the work side. Did a degree in Medical Microbiology there. The only downer was having a shared room in the first year but now I'm free! No more roommate!!! Yes, I'm very happy about this. Had you known my roommate you would understand this totally! If you want to check out the University site to learn a bit more about it then just go here. It's a really dull site so I'd avoid it.
In my free time I like to read, listen to music, go out with friends, go to the cinema, chat online, write, go to the pub etc. I'm a big animal and nature lover so I spend as much time out in the country as possible. These days I have 4 cats and my gorgeous Rhodesian Ridgeback puppy! When I have the time and money I like to travel. I have visited quite a few countries so far in various parts of the world and am always looking for the next plane to hop on. I'm in several online LJS clubs. To see who I am in them just go here.
My parents are both teachers at a local secondary school. This had its advantages and disadvantages. The biggest disadvantage being that the excuse "I don't have to go to school it's a training day." never worked! Also quite shocking here is my choice of future career. After deciding that research science is well, pants to be blunt. This was the reason for the move to London for the PGCE year. So I am now the stuff of nightmares....A secondary science teacher! I can hear the blood curdling screams now.
I am now employed as a Science teacher at a High School in Kent. Hmm, here's hoping that no pupils from the school stumble across this. *g* If they do then....Hey muppets :-P
Umm, I'm 5'6" tall. I have shoulder length dark blonde hair and blue-green eyes. My personality, umm, I guess I'd best be described as one of those shy, quiet, thoughtful types. (If you ever talk to my friends, whatever they tell you is not true! I'm very sane and quiet...honest guv!)
Well, that should have given a limited insight into who I am. You'll be glad to know it's over and you can wake up again.
