Welcome... welcome my friends!
I see you found me!

I have been hiding out here, on my own little island...
I just happened to come here
one night in a dream
and
I liked it so much that I decided to stay!

Now that you're here,
You might want to take the magical "mystery" tour!
You see, it's still a "mystery" to me,
as to what all is on this island...
*giggle!*

I have done a little exploring,
charted some of the terrain,
and
I can tell you there are some really
magical things here!

Fairies and Dragons,
Mermaids and sea creatures,
and
Wild animals of all kinds!

I have made a map of what I have seen so far...
Look down at your feet and I'm sure you will see it!

Yes, that's right,
Look down!

Ahhh...
You found it!

All you have to do is follow the map...
But, be careful!
This is pristine and wild territory
and
you never know what you might run into!

Good Luck!

Oh...!
Please don't take the map home with you!
It's the only one I have and it took me weeks to make!

Here is a list and explaination of
the territory I have charted so far,
to help you on your way...

Please note that some sections of the island
are still under major construction.
If you stay on the trail you won't get lost.
Have a good time
and
Enjoy your stay!

Magic Island Fairy Forest Adoptions - Look in the center of the map... it is the highest place on the island and is an old growth rainforest full of fairies and magical creatures!  If you go to the forest and sit quitely I am sure you will see the fairies around sunset.  I have only seen two myself so far, but I'm sure if you are patient more will come out!  But be careful...  One might just follow you home!

Windmills of My Mind - I guess this island must have been inhabited by some ancient race of people.  I found an old broken down windmill close to Northern Lake.  It was in horrible disrepair and quite forgotten, but useable I think.  It was full of ruminations and sayings, quotes and the like.  I am sure it was used to pump the waters of the spirit to the minds of the ancient ones...

Woman's Point of View - Not far from the old mill, right up the beach, you will find the "Point".  It is a lovely place, full of ideas about me and my friends. Why don't you wander on over and pick up a shell or two!

Tanamount Tree House - If you look at the bottom left corner of the map, you will see a picture of this old tree house.  I was facinated by all the treasures there.  Every thing to make a homepage nice and comfy!  Tiles, Borders and sets... Lots of accessories!  You might just find what you like in that ol' shack!

The Font Tree - I have recently planted an orchard on the island. One of the Trees is in full bloom and full of fonts! Why don't you go on over and pick a few to take home with you... You can get there by way of the tree on the lower right side of the map.

The How'd Ya Do Zoo! - I was walking in the foothills the other day and all of a sudden I was surrounded by fierce and ferocious creatures!  I fought and I fought for hours on end... *pant, pant*, finally I won!  I had them corraled and hemmed in!  Now, mind you, I am not the sort who holds captives or believes in it!  But, these poor little guys seemed to be lonesome so I took them with me... What could I do?  I'm just that sort of girl!  So naturally, I started my own zoo! Look for the large open land on the high right side of the map...

Sail Away Bay - You won't believe what I found over there!  Mermaid's, Mermen and all sorts of sea creatures!  Honest!!  Go see for your self and you just might find me there, too.  I'm always in the middle of something!  It's just a short hike from the zoo to the south...

Runamuck Beach - There is an old sunken ship right off the coast of the beach here.  I think it might have been a pirate ship!  I swam out and dove down to see what I could see and there are tons of goodies still in the ship!  If I had some help we could haul them up to shore and start our own museum!  Who knows... There may be treasure on board somewhere! On the west side of the island...

Crystal Caves of Enchantment - Some where in the back of my mind (that's a pretty dusty place!!) I seemed to have the idea there was once a wizard here. I found an old cave high up in the hills just before the forest and there were drawings on the walls.  You know the kind, with magical symbols and something that looks like a star map!  You don't suppose there are dragons still in that cave do you? It's sort of hidden beneath the vines and brush, but if you look real hard I am sure you will see a crystal shining to guide you on your way...

Note: Be very careful! The caves can be a dark, dangerous place and it's a grueling journey!! Make sure you take some thing to light your way...

Links Harbour - When I first came to Magic Island, I sailed in by way of an old deserted harbour. I have worked really hard to fix the pier and make it presentable for company. Now it is fully functional and I love to have you go take a look! You will find my address book over there in case you want to visit some of the other wonderful places around, like Charlene's Japanese Tea Garden. Just head to the large bay on the west side of the island...

Oasis of Resources - Just a short way 'round the bend from the harbour, up from the southern tip of the island, is a wonderful old bedouin tent I found. It must have belonged to a beachcomber way back when... I restored it and decided to store all my tools and useful things in there. If you need to borrow something, go right ahead, just remember to put things away when you are done using them. There is quite a list, on the table inside, of the things I use to decorate my island. That way I could share them with passers-by...

Miranda's World - You know I have been told that by staring into the sun you can see many things. I wouldn't advise it, but if you are tired of being on the island and need to get back to the mainland, just ask the sun for a ride and he will gladly take you back to Miranda's World...

Well, that's it!
Have a good time exploring,
and if you find anything you feel would be useful to you,
Please help yourself!
Just remember to leave the map behind for others,
and if you can, place a little note in a bottle for me
so that others might find there way here!
That way I won't be so lonely here all by myself...
