You walk down on of the paths. This one looks like it has the most light. Light, in a forest that can make paths appear out of thin air, is always good.
Suddenly, you meet a coyote. With wings, and hawk-like feet. And porcupine quills down it's back.
"Ahhhh!! Don't hurt me!" he cries. A few minutes later, after he has stopped screaming, he looks at you.
"Oh hi! My name's Nexus. You scared me! But I can stand up to you, I'm a he-man! Doncha think Nexus is a better name then Cid85? I used to call myself that. What a wimpy name. I gotta keep up with the times. Oh, you probably want me to tell you a bit about myself. But first, I gotta tell you that the picture up there was drawn by THE BEST ARTIST ON THE NET!!! Her name is Jungura!
And now, a bit about me. Well, here goes. I'm so interesting that it will be hard for me to tell all of it. I love computers. I have SOOO many computer games. I am also the hottest person alive. I stand up for the rights of Nerds everywhere. Starlight is putting me in her fanfics too. I am cool, and...."
"Oh hi" calls a voice from up above you. You turn. You see a large brown bat. It has a bump on it's nose. "I'm Cordillya85. I'm one of Starlight's wonderful friends!! Starlight, she sings a lot, I don't. But I play piano. I love skating too, except I hate wearing make up. I also edit Starlight's fanfics. She writes well, but I want her to kill off most of her characters. They are SOOOOO annoying!! I write about Brandy, a girl who halucinates about mice that play guitars and where cowboy hats. But don't worry, it's not all like that! In my story there is Dylan and Brandy, who is now Rebecca, and-"
"Please, don't listen to her!" says a voice from by your feet. A Pine martin comes out and looks at you with black eyes. "Cordy blabs on and on about that. And she doesn't even watch TV!"
"I do too!" Cordillya says indignantly. "I watched three minutes of this show with a girl that had red hair..."
"Both of you quite arguing!" Nexus snaps. "Now Cut-Throat85, tell this human a bit about yourself."
The stoat clears her throat. "I used to be really mean to all these guys. I used to tease them a lot, and be mean to them.I used to steal their erasers. But now I am nice, because I know how nice they are. I am energetic, and I like talking. Of course I'm the coolest person out of this bunch of Nerds. We all know that. My friends all blab about the Internet and stuff and I'm like "whatever!." They can be so annoying!"
"Internet this, computer's that" comes a voice from the shadows. You turn around, knowing that you are going to meet someone crazy, and being prepared. A giant mouse, dark brown with black eyes comes out and greets you.
"Hi, I'm Mog85" she says in a quiet voice. "I don't have a computer, but Nexus and Starlight are always talking about it, and they're making me want one. I like anime. And don't call it Japanamation!! My favourite shows are Evangellion, Sailor Moon, and Dragon Ball Z. I like all my friends, they're nice. And Starlight85 says I don't have good grammar!! She's so annoying, but she's one of my best friends."
"I like anime too!" Nexus adds.
"And you're always talking about anime" Cordillya85 sighs. "Hey, maybe I could put some anime into Brandy...."
"You guys are SOOOO pathetic!" Cut-Throat85 says, yawning.
You quickly look around, then decide it would be better to high tail it outta here. You don't want to meet any more of Starlight's real life friends. They're too wacky for your tastes.
